Even though it is grim and has rained or snowed every single day of 2026 so far, there is a glimmer of hope. The afternoons are hanging out longer. Probably by as much as an hour since Christmas. Several of my daffodils have buds and other bulbs are slowly shooting through the ground. Other shrubs are showing sign of life. Although its quite overcast at the moment we did get about an hour of weak sunshine this morning.
