Naive to being chatted up

Has anyone ever been chatted up or had a guy come on to them and been absolutely naive to the fact.

If I’m out in a social environment (usually the pub) Im very chatty and will talk with anyone, even making new friends

One time I was out with work colleagues got chatting to a guy in a bar who was visiting the town on business, we got on well had a few drinks I introduced him to some of my favourite bars, a purely innocent bromance on my part oblivious to anything else.

This was in the days pubs shut at 11, in those days I was always chasing one last drink, tried to persuade him to go clubbing but he had an early train the next day and politely declined however did offer to let me sample his minibar in his hotel which was nearby.

I innocently (genuinely) went back to his room, didn’t twig anything more until the point when sitting on his bed he leaned in to try and kiss me.

Maybe not “absolutely naive” to it… but I have crises of confidence where I assume a guy can’t possibly be interested in me “in that way”, even if he’s dropping hints or being a bit too “friendly” for his interest in me to be purely non-sexual

Like, if there’s some stereotypical chisel-jawed “super hottie” in the same room in a gay bar or sauna, I just presume everyone will be chasing him instead, lol
