Do pics get removed when you tick the auto removal when sending to someone?

I ask because when I do tick the box, later I still see the pic I sent on my side

As far as I know.

Pics can only be removed if you're a Site Supporter.

To the OP, I believe the pics do disappear on their side when you tick the box because I sent a pic to someone a while back and they wanted me to send it again because it disappears on their side. If they're updating the site I'm not sure if that's still the case as I haven't sent a pic for a good while.
