No, Fab is NOT a publicly traded entity.

Even if it were, your factually incorrect nonsense on your profile is just that.

Just empty words taking up server space.

Oh yeah, anyone with that in their profile gets ignored.

Its a good filter for time wasters.

As if they are going to take Facebook or the uni down under to court for looking at a blurry cock pic and a few words strung together lol.

Maybe some guys have a kink for being a fake lawyer. Get a mini-boner if you whisper "without prejudice" and "party of the first part" in their ear. Cum if you say "habeas corpus" or "caveat emptor".

The ones that really get my goat are the ones that say Facebook not Fab.

So, you don't even know what website you are on, and you want me to trust you with my body?

That's a no!

Whatever makes them happy, if it gives them some sort of comfort thinking that their pics can’t be used by others because of a useless bit of text then have at it haha

I love the idea of Fab actually being a publicly traded company though. Wonder what investors would think

This one's often used: " The contents of this profile are private and legally privileged and confidential information, and the violation of my personal privacy is punishable by law. UCC 1-103 1-308 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED WITHOUT PREJUDICE "

UCC 1-103 highlights the UCC’s purpose of promoting uniformity in commercial laws among different states. The UCC was designed to create consistent rules and standards for commercial transactions across state lines.

UCC 1-308 ...used to be a section of the Uniform Commercial Code that allowed someone to perform under a contract while reserving their rights to dispute parts of it later. However, this section was renumbered to UCC 1-207 years ago, and even then, it doesn't work the way most people think it does.

So, (a) the UCC only applies to the US

and (b) it has nothing specific to say about copyright or punishment.

I know the 'Sydney University thing.' I can tell you the difference between Garry Wotherspoon’s social history and the urban legends about the Fisher Library. (Hint: One involves a PhD, the other involves a stapler).

I am surprised that people who use the site daily, have not bothered to take the time to look at who owns an entity that many pay money to on a regular basis.

It is a limited company. It is registered in London. The 24/25 accounts ending 30th November 2025 will probably be out in Mayish this year.

You an get all this information and more from Companies House.

I would recommend anyone that buys goods or services from any online business ascertain their details and checks them out before you make any payments to them.

And yes the rubbish that some put at the bottom of their profile are absolute garbage.

Everything is owed by something, nothing is private online, when you use anything free, it's not and data is worth more than most think but most don't care to think. Cure or poison, tool or weapon depending on the use and skill, just enjoy the ride

"

would it be considered bad form to point this out to them?

Or that the time and effort spent cutting and pasting this nonsense would be better spent telling us that you like sucking a dick or can't stand frilly knickers.

There are at least a couple who have a variation of it.

I'm wondering out loud.. how would they know someone has used information obtained from their profile..??

And if privacy is such a big issue would they really go public with a legal case! All just complete bollocks.
