So many talk about being owned or wanting to be owned.

As a top I’ve been asked, and have given it some thought.

Have even been asked to be a key holder.

But I reckon to do it properly makes great demands on your time and takes much commitment

So I’ve always backed away

I think people throw the idea about far too casually withiut thinking whats involved.

What do others think ?

Something of the opposite for me- I liked being owned but because it was all hush hush, I couldn't keep up with the demands. It was fun at work sending naughty photos but I couldn't get free whenever he demanded. Which is a shame as I did enjoy the thrill

That’s part if the problem.

If a sub is owned he has to be readily available much of the time.

If he has family and work then it’s limited and ownership makes no sense in my view.

I think it's very rare to find that sort of pairing. As pointed out, real life makes it impossible for both parties. Nothing wrong with the fantasy notion of ownership as part of sub/dom play, even if it involves a real-world schedule, jobs, commitments.

I'll only ever give temporary ownership to a guy, usually for the duration of our time together. During that time I'm fully committed to that ownership but once done playing that ownership is taken back. I'm far too headstrong, stubborn and independent to commit to full and lasting ownership but I do enjoy leaving that side of me at the door sometimes x

I think the whole concept is ridiculous. I treat other people as equal and don't enjoy silly games.
