Images of a man purported to be the paedophile Epstein alive and well and living in Israel have certainly got the conspiracy theorists going. Is it him? Probably not, though i am aware of questions surrounding his death.

However, it is worth bearing in mind Israel's long standing laissez faire attitude to sex offenders. According to Humanium.org more than 60 have been allowed entry since 2014 under the right of return. I have seen this described as a 'loophole in the law'. Possibly but this does not account for Israel's efforts in blocking their extradition. For example, it took 15 years to extradite the Australian Malka Leifer and only came about following incontrovertable proof that medical reports had been falsified. Tomas Zeron is unlikely ever to face justice.

It appears that the continued lack of any kind of human decency exhibited by this nasty state knows no bounds.

Given these events and a multitude of others like them it's a perfectly reasonable assumption that Epstein, were he still alive and free, would be welcome there. Not only that but equally, if not even more, vehemently protected.

Any competent plastic surgeon could totally transform his appearance with a simple nose job and chin bone shave. Give him a new haircut and he would be unrecognisable and able to live openly anywhere. Sure there's still plenty of people in the US that would be happy to take him in.

An aside: The Attorney General at the time described Epstein's death as resulting from "a perfect storm of screwups" The Attorney General was William Barr, apologist for Russia, devoted servant of Trump, and... the son of the CIA asset who gave Epstein his first teaching job, without requiring any qualifications. "A rather murky fog of coincidences" perhaps.
