The BBC have found that a lot of patients on Restless Leg Syndrome medication have started to cross dress

And have sex with men.

All report never doing this before

So are you really a bisexual cross dresser or just experiencing side effects?

Preferring cock is a side effect to my visual dislike of vaginas - to me a cock looks far appealing than the other.

So the bbc (that reliable source of unbiased news and information!)who have never ever altered the narrative to suit have openly said there’s a prescription medication to turn straight men into crossdressing gay men ?

I've never had restless legs and very rarely take medication for anything (the odd antibiotics if I get a bacterial infection but otherwise nothing)

So I guess my love for lingerie is just innate.

If I blame anything it'd be my mum's mail order catalogues and those pages we all wanked to as horny teenageray

I suffer with Restless Leg Syndrome but was gay for a good many years before it started. Plus never had the slightest inclination to crossdress.

I've had restless leg syndrome for a long time never taken medication for it was totally straight until urges started in mid 20s but didn't actually go for it till i was 35 what a wasted youth missed out on getting seduced by dirty old men missed out on public toilets with glory hole's and also getting the chance of a guy standing beside me at urinal stroking himself and offering it to me bugger.

All dependant on the individual. I've seen and enjoyed some beautiful vaginas, and some cocks on here are grotesque abominations that look like botched surgery.

But give me a nice smooth erect one with decent length and girth and a nicely proportioned shiny bellend and I'm down for that (and down on it)

I had a lover from here many years ago. A gentleman who had early onset Parkinson’s in his 50s that had been prescribed one of the meds mentioned in the BBC article and podcast.

His was a familiar story to many on here. Or he discovered the joys of internet hookups and sex with men late in life. It was driven by the medication but was always something in the back of his head.

It was intriguing watching him transform from slow moving mild mannered man to an absolute animal that would make me cum hands free, lick the cum then go back to laying pipe. I often wonder how he’s doing now as I left the site and could not find him on my return.

Yeah, I went to check the medication as well because I assumed it would be related to Ropinirole, which I only knew as Parkinson medication rather than RLS. It definitely does have a huge impact on people - since all the lawsuits against GSK, you have to have pretty regular checkups with your GP to question of risk taking attitude.

Well despite some of the ignorant comments on here, this is quite feasable. All medicatiosn have some form of side effect and some can alter homones. Lisinapril( an ACE inhitor) can contribute to men's breats growing.

Another way to deal with restless leg syndrome is to try upping your Magnesium. It worked for someone I know

It’s good to hear that some GPs are asking about side effects.

In the report one man says he can’t talk about them with his GP as his wife attends all his appointments.

Others have reported impulsive gambling.

I feel the “I’ve never thought of cross dressing/ gay sex before” is more, “I’ve had those thoughts but suppressed them”.

It’s similar to Father Ted where the housekeepers discuss this poor Father who keeps getting forced into dresses by intruders.

I imagine if the gay man was suppressing his bi sexuality it could happen. However I imagine they are rare.

Could they be on yo something here. They say a certain type of dementia makes men lose sexual inhibitions and make risky choices in public situations because the brain is affected

Fortunately I've never needed medication to cross dress or to have sex with men. That impulse is natural for me every day. Hopefully that should mean I should avoid any chance of having Restless leg syndrome!

It's a dopamine agonist. Dopamine is one of the most powerful neurotransmitters we have. The side effect profile is understandably lengthy. They work well, but there's no such thing as a drug without side effect. Agree as above, regular checks if u can find an interested GP or I suggest a Nurse Specialist in your local Neuro team!..easy access to experts!

Would the medication make me crossdress more and have sex with more men ?

Or does it stop at a specific point

Ie once a week lights off knickers on type of thing
