That's inaccurate and very misleading! The new law isn't about government access to all data, it's about clarifying rules for organisations handling your data. They need to be transparent and have lawful reasons for processing it. Government access still requires specific legal grounds, like a warrant, under laws such as the Investigatory Powers Act.
