"What's your thoughts on the government being allowed access to all your data " There are new data protection laws, none of which allow what you are suggesting. Perhaps you could name this legislation, and provide links.

"What's your thoughts on the government being allowed access to all your data " That's inaccurate and very misleading! The new law isn't about government access to all data, it's about clarifying rules for organisations handling your data. They need to be transparent and have lawful reasons for processing it. Government access still requires specific legal grounds, like a warrant, under laws such as the Investigatory Powers Act.
