So unless bareback is mentioned on their profile, when they say they will fuck you bareback, you assume they are timewasters? That's a very odd conclusion to make. Maybe you just attract a lot of timewasters, but if someone says they will fuck you bareback, believe them, regardless of what is and isn't on the profile. Ditto, if someone has Safe Sex on their profile, it's foolish to assume they dont also bareback.

It sounds like he had a great time. Nobody can recommend that you have unsafe sex with any more than they can recommend you have safe sex. He's made a decision which was right for him at the time. I'd do it, but then again I haven't had a condom anywhere near me in decades, and based on my own experience, dont live in a state of fear. I feel much safer with guys who are sexually responsible, than I do with guys who rubber up. I am responsible for my sexual health, nobody else. I'd question what has happened to them to lead them to insist on using condoms. In fact, I'd ignore them entirely.

I agree it would be easier to search but to be honest I have been contacted by lots of guys who dont have BB and do have safe and when I challenge them they say they will do BB but believe they'll miss out on covered sex if they put BB in likes.

When checking profiles I do look to see the absence of "safe" as even if BB isn't listed this seems to be a strong indication that they are up for it.

After donkeys years here, I think the opposite is true. Bareback is overwhelming now the normal, and using condoms has become rare, even for those guys who list safe sex. It is very, very rare to come across a guy on here who will strictly only do condom sex. It's a simple "do you?" conversation that needs to happen early. I can count on one hand the number of meets I've rejected due to their insistence on condoms.

If you're on prep whether they are or not on prep is irrelevant, as is their hiv status. However guys on prep do tend to be far more responsible about testing regularly.
