Just an enquiry on here when it says a guy is in touching distance how far is that usually?

In my experience it's anywhere up to about 200 metres or so. One of my neighbours shows as "within touching distance" but he's actually 3 houses away. I was once in a pub and a guy messaged me saying he was "within touching distance" but he was across and up the road in a different bar about 150 metres away. So it can be fairly close, but usually not literally touching distance.

The shortest distance I've seen other than "touching" is a quarter mile, so I would assume anywhere below 200m

However you do need to take into account how often the distances get updated. There have been a lot of people on similar threads recounting that the other person was no longer there, and when the distance got updated they were 20 miles away.

Often does work, when I’ve been on a walk over the local coo on, indeed it’s with 10’s of yards, but suffers from not being updated quite as often as it should? Sometimes the message remains long after the guy has moved on!

Literally once indeed, I bumped into a guy in mid wank around a wooded corner, it would have been rude not to have joined him and assist!
