"Surely the point of the cabinet is to get advice. If you’re not going to listen to that advice then don’t have a cabinet, just do it urself" I think having listened to your cabinet you should then make a considered decision. Obviously there are going to be opposing views among that number of ministers. And not all of them will have the benefit of having been receiving security and diplomatic briefings. Only a select few will have the full picture. Im no fan of Starmer but I believe on this issue he has taken a cautious and considered approach. He can still step up, but once done he cannot then step back. If the dummy across the pond don't like it then tough shit. I still suspect this whole thing is more about cutting off another supplier of oil to China tha Ieans nuclear ambitions.

"Ed Silliband was evidently one of these. About time that fool was sacked" Ed and his windmills. He reminds me of Windy Miller from Camberwick Green every time I see the overpaid buffoon

"Starmer isn't running the show ....He's become a stooge. If he does what he's told ... he gets to stay as PM* *For now " I wouldn’t let Starmer run a bath let alone anything else

There's just so many sheep who will jump on Starmer for whatever decision he makes. It's an egregious decision by US and Israel to mount this war and we are best distancing ourselves from it as much as we can

"Reports are emerging that our PM initially wanted to allow our alliance partner the US to use our bases but was overruled by three members of the cabinet. Surely the PM should have said ‘back me’ or out of the door sunshine’s, instead of allowing the ‘tail to be wagging the dog’?" Who or Whom is this information supplied by? A member of the cabinet? Any number of the cabinet could have their own personal ambitions to allege this point, so the source is very pertinent to your post.

"The funniest thing is that all those who think we should jump in on Trump's side are the "stop the boats" flag shaggers. Wonder where all the refugees from this disaster are going to head to? Foreign Policy for Dummies" Well, if they do head here, at the very least it will finally prove, unequivocally, that they’re not fleeing just war considering all the safe countries they will have to pass through first. What will you bullshit be then?

" They're not fleeing war? FFS your even thicker than I thought!" What are you on about??? If Iranians are fleeing for their lives then the first safe country they reach should suffice, should it not? Let’s say Turkey?? So, why are you saying that the UK will have an influx of Iranians seeking refuge from war? It’s nearly 4k miles away ffs!! You have unwittingly by the look of it destroyed the myth that our imports of the last decade are fleeing war. Answer the question, how on earth can the UK be exposed to war torn Iranians jumping on boats to us??? Gotcha! 🤣
