I want city to steal it soooo much but off the scales that we’re out the bottom 3. I hate arsenal more than Millwall and desperate the Irishman turned Englishman gets fuck all again. Obviously on an even better note let’s hope the y#ds drop points tomorrow. Fingers crossed The Irons & Forest keep battling on & secure their premiership status ⚒️

Think it’s all over now - can’t see Arsenal blowing it from here …..they win & Spurs go down & Chelsea loose out on an automatic Champions League spot would be my ideal Scenero. And Leeds to win the Cup

It's quite noticeable how some otherwise prolific posters, fail to engage after their team has had a poor weekend.

Imagine if Spurs and West Ham had to fight it out in a relegation final.

There would be some edge to that game.

I suspect that Igor will be I've gone before the end of the day, the shortest Tudor reign since Lady Jane Grey. If he's quick he can get a direct train from Tottenham Hale to Stansted, he'll be on the Ryanair 22:15 to Dubrovnik in the blink of an eye.

My team, Wolves, will have a major say in that.... Our next game is away at West Ham and still to play Spurs at home too. Our last game of the season could be a wooden spoon decider as we are away at Burnley!

Delayed a week due to the death of his father and a break in fixtures due to international matches, but the inevitable has now happened.

Once again they'll be looking to appoint an interim manager until the end of the season, with the next permanent appointment dependent on which league they'll be playing in.

Same amount of managers as they've had home wins this season.

Just noticed the beginning of this particular thread , how things can change in a relatively short period of time , Arsenal fans not as confident as they once were , ,I don't usually watch Premier league but went to the pub Sunday to watch them get beat by Manchester City , as a neutral enjoyed the match and following City beating Burnley and going top , it does appear the pressure is on Arsenal but if they can cope and pick up a couple of wins in their next 2 games they will be 6 points Infront of City before City next play , putting the pressure on City , , think it's going to be tight and might even come down to goal difference

Check out how many threads the OP and other Mickey Arsenal fan (on this thread ) have filled this forum with nonsense , all about Mickey Arsenal and its 10-point lead. Now, they've vanished, just like ice cream on a hot day. It's surprising why anyone would want to support a Mickey team that loves being in second place, which is pretty much like being in 17th position in the Premier League. And no, Arsenal will never pull 6 points ahead; if they could, they would have wrapped it up in the last 7 or 8 matches when City was over 9 points behind.

However, Liverpool is likely to remain in the top 5, or possibly even climb to third place. They managed to defeat your Arsenal, Tottenham, and Aston Villa quite comfortably, even though they haven't had a great season overall.

I've noticed how the usual, more fickle people jump up and down week by week. As you know we lost 2-1 to City in a hard fought game. Yesterday they struggled to win 1-0 at Burnley, the pressure on them now beginning to show. We are joint top on points and goal difference but have, on paper at least, an easier run in.

Burnley were fighting for their lives and Turf Moor is never a easy place to go however Man City got the job done so to say the pressure is beginning to show is madness 🤦🏻

The difference is Pep is a serial winner and knows what is needed unlike Arteta

Arsenal have been top since October and now when it really counts have dropped to second so I’d say it’s them under pressure

I hate to say it but I still think AFC will pip City to the title. Their remaining fixtures are easier (on paper) than City’s, all I’m interested in is The Irons staying up although in all honesty it’s doubtful as we desperately needed 3 points at Selhurst at the beginning of the week. Too little too late…🤞🏼⚒️

None of this matters until it's all done and dusted, people are too easily swayed by headline grabbing news headlines that change views every other day. City still have to play Bournemouth, Brentford and Villa, all chasing European places, and Everton, also no pushovers. I don't think they'll gain full points from those games, it isn't over until the fat lady sings.

Agree it’s never over until it’s over and I’m sure there will still be the odd surprise result as no game is easy in the Premier League

Just don’t slip up against Newcastle 😉

It’s going to be a great end of season for the title contenders and Europe Contenders

Geography obviously isn't your strong point. As I said, Arsenal is my local club and I live a few stops further up the Piccadilly Line, close to the manager, ex-manager and several of the players. I've seen a few of them in my local Waitrose over the years as well - keyword being local.

Our Liverpool supporting friend has his location shown as East/West Sussex, which the more knowledgeable amongst us will recognise as being on or near the south coast. This leaves us with the option that either he's lying, or Salah has a very long commute.

AFTV is a commercial media company that is unrepresentative and very much disliked by the bulk of genuine Arsenal fans. It's aimed at the lower intelligence type of fan from other clubs who enjoy contrived conflict and manufactured anger, and rakes in £thousands each week from the moronic behaviour that some people thrive on.

"Just noticed the beginning of this particular thread , how things can change in a relatively short period of time , Arsenal fans not as confident as they once were , ,I don't usually watch Premier league but went to the pub Sunday to watch them get beat by Manchester City , as a neutral enjoyed the match and following City beating Burnley and going top , it does appear the pressure is on Arsenal but if they can cope and pick up a couple of wins in their next 2 games they will be 6 points Infront of City before City next play , putting the pressure on City , , think it's going to be tight and might even come down to goal difference

Yet this is one of 7 consecutive posts by yourself, pot calling the kettle black.

I support Arsenal because they're my local side and a few stops down the Piccadilly Line for me. Arteta,Wenger and a few of their players live less than a mile from my home. All this from a Liverpool fan living on the south coast, aka Glory Hunter.

Salah’s house is 400 feet away from my house .. is it ok to be a fan of Liverpool or do I need to buy a house closer to him?

According to the OP it does 😉

Imagine bragging about the players you “live” next too and using that as one of the reasons you support a team 🤦🏻

I’ve literally heard it all now 😂

Geography obviously isn't your strong point. As I said, Arsenal is my local club and I live a few stops further up the Piccadilly Line, close to the manager, ex-manager and several of the players. I've seen a few of them in my local Waitrose over the years as well - keyword being local.

Our Liverpool supporting friend has his location shown as East/West Sussex, which the more knowledgeable amongst us will recognise as being on or near the south coast. This leaves us with the option that either he's lying, or Salah has a very long commute.

Now he mentions he shops at “Waitrose” 😂"

I'm not sure what is wrong with shopping at Waitrose, however you have ignored the discrepancy between Salah and the south coast. Do you have difficulty absorbing facts?

"Arsenal homing in on the title now, seven points ahead. Man City blinked first.

Is this the same Arsenal who only recently were 9 points clear and according to their supporters were going to win the quadruple?

2nd again ole ole

2nd again ole ole

2nd again

2nd again

ole ole

And when they got knocked out the FA cup it was f**k the FA cup 😂

Intolerable Fans

The Little midget from Arsenal fans TV must be losing his mind 😂😂

AFTV is a commercial media company that is unrepresentative and very much disliked by the bulk of genuine Arsenal fans. It's aimed at the lower intelligence type of fan from other clubs who enjoy contrived conflict and manufactured anger, and rakes in £thousands each week from the moronic behaviour that some people thrive on."

It still represents your club though it is that too hard for you to understand 🤔

And just to spoil your fun I don’t watch it it has no interest to me whatsoever

Ha ha ha, just picture this: your local team is comprised of foreigners who have lived in Africa and various European nations, with managers hailing from Spain and France. Yet, you find it perplexing that someone from southern England supports a team located in northern England. This is perhaps the most ridiculous statement I've ever encountered, folks.

Not being a xenophobic club, it doesn't concern me at all. The fact that you picked up on that, and strangely sought to use it to your advantage, is a massive red flag and indicates the type of person you truly are. Will you be voting for Reform next month?

You really don’t know me at all so to class me as racist is a low blow indeed

We have many black players who play for my club in fact my favourite player is black and I also work with black colleagues who I class as good friends

Bringing racism into it is pathetic and despite previous attempts to draw aline under our previous disagreements I find myself giving up as you are clearly a very sad old man who thinks he better than most

One very horrible individual

Now he mentions he shops at “Waitrose” 😂

Ha ha ha, just picture this: your local team is comprised of foreigners who have lived in Africa and various European nations, with managers hailing from Spain and France. Yet, you find it perplexing that someone from southern England supports a team located in northern England. This is perhaps the most ridiculous statement I've ever encountered, folks.

It’s pathetic mate and let’s be honest here half the fans that go to watch Arsenal probably aren’t originally from the UK

Spot on mate

"Just noticed the beginning of this particular thread , how things can change in a relatively short period of time , Arsenal fans not as confident as they once were , ,I don't usually watch Premier league but went to the pub Sunday to watch them get beat by Manchester City , as a neutral enjoyed the match and following City beating Burnley and going top , it does appear the pressure is on Arsenal but if they can cope and pick up a couple of wins in their next 2 games they will be 6 points Infront of City before City next play , putting the pressure on City , , think it's going to be tight and might even come down to goal difference

The Irons & Forest cannot secure their Premiership status as neither of them play in The Premiership. They actually play in the Premier League.

The Premiership is contested in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Premier League table could look very interesting by about 5:00pm today. The 3rd relegation spot is between Spurs & West Ham.

If West Ham beat Everton (difficult with the latters away form) and Wolves beat the woeful Spurs (very possible if Wolves go for it, coz Spurs would just capitulate) there would be a 5 point gap between Spurs and The Hammers, with only 4 games remaining.

Could Spurs be playing Championship games in exotic places like Lincoln City next season…..?🤣🤣

C’MON WOLVES…….. Do the decent thing; a 1-0 win, last kick of the game.

Yes , it is an issue, the lower down the leagues you go , although being actually relegated does sound harsh , teams seeking / winning promotion do have to adhere to certain ground standards so fail to go up , but it does sound harsh for the team involved , if they keep their squad together I expect them to be quite strong in the league below next season

End of season I suspect the Arsenal trophy cabinet will be empty. Nothing unusual about that since Arteta been manager.

Man city to win domestic treble.

Spurs and Millwall to swap divisions

After a point away at Wolves today we have secured our premier league status 😁

What a season it’s been for us considering so many wrote us off and said we’d be relegated before a ball had even been kicked especially the Mag fans who had us relegated by Christmas and beat in both Derbies (I wonder what happened there 🤔) 😂😂

Yes we’ve had a few bad results ie the Forest match at home which was a shit show but it’s expected especially when you are a newly promoted side so there’s no shame in it whatsoever and tbh after all the players have give throughout the season it was on the cards at some point.

Hats off to our board who recruited magnificently especially bringing in Zhaka who has been a fantastic leader for us and has got what it means to pull on our shirt from day one he just gets our the club what a man 👌

Finally Le Bris he’s done incredible considering we brought in 11 new players and had never managed in the Premier League before he’s been a breath of fresh air and I for one hope he stays and guides us into next season.

Heres to the last 3 games of the season were we can sit back relax and try to finish above the Mags 😁

Ha’way the Lads 🔴⚪️

It's impossible to say how things will pan out, and I've never claimed otherwise. We're now six points clear with West Ham, Burnley and Palace as our last three fixtures.

City have Everton, Brentford, Palace, Bournemouth and Villa, three of whom are still playing for places in Europe next season. Neither of the top two can afford to slip up, but they're now chasing us.

Huge have for them at Everton mate it’s a tough place to go and the pressure might just get to them 🤔

Tbh as much as I’ve gone on about Arsenal it would be good to see a different club win it and i personally think you have give yourselves a massive chance now despite Man City having two games in hand

No problem. With regards to City, this nonsense over their financial cheating has gone on way too long. They've been found guilty and punishment is due, I just hope that any punishment is a large points deduction or relegation. Taking titles off them that they've already won is nonsense, they've already had a chance to celebrate.

When were Manchester City found guilty please and when was the verdict announced because I cannot find anything online stating that Manchester City have been found guilty of anything at all.

Manchester City also deny all of the 115 charges against them and have irrefutable evidence in their defence.

Are You confident about getting through to the champions league final??

I watched the game on Wednesday and how you weren’t awarded that penalty is beyond me 🤷🏻"

You do realise that the charges against Manchester City were brought by the Premier League and not the FA don’t you?

"Spurs and West Ham really looking like relegation fodder now. A very good win for Forest.

Delayed a week due to the death of his father and a break in fixtures due to international matches, but the inevitable has now happened.

Once again they'll be looking to appoint an interim manager until the end of the season, with the next permanent appointment dependent on which league they'll be playing in.

Are there any managers left that spuds haven't used and abused! Call Red Adair... Big Sam Alladyce to put the fire out! "

Who is Big Sam Alladyce please?

Big Sam is a Football Manager , famous for very short term appointments, which sometime leads to keeping Clubs up. Famously was England Manager for one match - which he won, so is the only England Manager with a 100% win record. Had to resign when a a fake sheik newspaper reporter offered him money for arranging dodgy transfer deals.

It is not known if Big Sam has a Big Cock - although I suspect that could be the case .

".....You do realise that the charges against Manchester City were brought by the Premier League and not the FA don’t you?"

Your lawyers have certainly done their job in stringing this out but I wouldn't be too confident for the future, cheats will soon get their come-uppance:

As of May 2026, Manchester City has not been found guilty of Premier League financial fair play (FFP/PSR) charges, as a verdict on the 115+ alleged breaches between 2009 and 2018 is still pending. The club strongly denies wrongdoing, while reports suggest potential severe penalties if found guilty, including massive points deductions.Key Details on the Case:

The Charges: In February 2023, the Premier League charged City with roughly 115-130 breaches of financial rules, including failure to provide accurate financial information, disguising revenue, and failing to cooperate with investigations.

Timeframe: The alleged infractions occurred over a nine-year period from the 2009/10 to 2017/18 seasons.Current Status: A 10-week hearing was completed in late 2024, but the final verdict has been delayed into 2026 due to the complexity of the case.

Potential Penalties: If found guilty, punishments could include a severe points deduction (potentially over 60 points) or even expulsion from the Premier League.

City's Position: Manchester City has consistently denied the charges, citing a "body of irrefutable evidence" to prove their innocence. The case is widely seen as unprecedented in English football, and an official outcome is expected to be released following the conclusion of the independent panel's deliberations

"Good win for Arsenal it’s over to Man City now they can’t afford to slip up against Everton on Monday night

Are the Arsenal fans confident they can hold on to 1st place??

We will wait and see what happens on Monday night

By the way i apologise for our previous disagreements I hope we can wipe the slate clean 👍

Life is too short mate

No problem. With regards to City, this nonsense over their financial cheating has gone on way too long. They've been found guilty and punishment is due, I just hope that any punishment is a large points deduction or relegation. Taking titles off them that they've already won is nonsense, they've already had a chance to celebrate.

Couldn’t agree more mate 👍

Personally I’d like to see them relegated as a punishment but unfortunately I don’t think that will ever happen as I don’t think the FA would have the balls to do it

We battered Atletico in the early stages of the CL but that means nothing now. It looks as if it's going to be close, 50/50 on who's going to win. We saw yesterday that Saka makes a difference though, and hopefully Odegaard will be fit as well.

Saka is a quality player mate I’ve always liked him he’s so attack minded and loves to run at defenders which is something I love to see

I’m sure you will be just fine and will make it to the final good luck to you 👍

"Just noticed the beginning of this particular thread , how things can change in a relatively short period of time , Arsenal fans not as confident as they once were , ,I don't usually watch Premier league but went to the pub Sunday to watch them get beat by Manchester City , as a neutral enjoyed the match and following City beating Burnley and going top , it does appear the pressure is on Arsenal but if they can cope and pick up a couple of wins in their next 2 games they will be 6 points Infront of City before City next play , putting the pressure on City , , think it's going to be tight and might even come down to goal difference

Arsenal did actually pull 6 points clear , so I think pressure now on Manchester City ,, I have seen instances before where the chasing club catches the club they are chasing only for the chased club to pull away again ,, as a neutral in this definitely keeping things exiting ,, at the moment I would edge towards Arsenal as they have the actual points but prepared to reconsider after Manchester City's next game ,,, also the relegation battle is tense don't think many predicted Spurs winning at Villa. ( And from watching the highlights they played well ) ,,

Yes, Spurs did play well. Let's not forget the 'Spursy' element though, there's enough games for them to fuck it up again.

Chelsea could do their London neighbours a favour by beating Nottingham Forest tonight

Or will their fans take the same stance some Hibs fans took at the weekend in being prepared to accept defeat in this game not to help out their neighbours ( in this case Hearts )

Arsenal have one hand on the trophy as it stands but never right off Man City they know how to win it so will not go down lightly however Everton away is a tough place to go especially if Everton are at their best and even more so if Pickford is on fire

In the relegation battle it’s mad to think Arsenal could do their arch rivals a massive favour by beating West Ham or could that be the very have that we get a massive shock 🤔

It’s been to be very interesting to see how it all pans out 😁

That’s what I’m saying Man City have a massive game tomorrow night against Everton they can’t afford any slip up whatsoever and it’s not a easy place to go to so they will really need to be on it from the KO

West Ham should be a nailed on win for Arsenal but as we all know there is no easy game in the premier league especially when playing teams fighting for relegation

It was West Ham that dashed Arsenal's hopes in the title race last year, and the champions, namely Liverpool, with Mac Allister, drove the final nails into that coffin. Therefore, do you not believe that West Ham is poised to do the same to Arsenal as they did last year?

Anything can happen in football as has been proven time and time again it’s the games that you go into thinking you’ve all ready won it that you slip up in

Newcastle fans will tell you that they all thought they were going to hammer us in both derbies all i kept hearing was 6 easy points blah blah blah and look what happened we won both and absolutely bullied them because we wanted it more

Never ever count your chickens in football 😁

No need to stress at all, 20-time champions here! Just chilling and watching, completely relaxed, easily beating Arsenal again this time .. What’s there to worry about? Meanwhile, Arsenal still hasn’t snagged the title. Every time they earn some points, they act like they’re champions. Can you believe they finished second again in the last match? Haha, I’d be worried if I were an Arsenal fan!

Another great win for Forest and it goes to show they aren’t an easy team to play against especially after all the abuse we got from our nearest and dearest when we got beat by them at the SOL it just shows no game is easy in the premier league

Hopefully that secures their premier league status as they are a great club and I found their fans to be very knowledgeable and friendly when they travelled up to Sunderland and joined us in the local bars before the match a great set of fans 👌

I'm still on the hunt for an Arsenal fan who doesn't have a big mouth, to be honest. It's been twenty-two years of waiting for a league title, and they're still hanging in there?? Yet, they call themselves champions with three matches left to play. They ask why someone is a Liverpool fan while living in Sussex??? Haha, come on, at least try to win the Champions League title once, the one that actually matters to people when it comes to your team. Hope this makes sense to you.

Some cracking games over the weekend just gone - including that one last night - Everton v Man City. Still fancy Man City for the Treble - although they have made it so much more difficult for themselves . So much on Arsenal v West Ham now , for both sides…..

It's no surprise.. I was anticipating your incredibly cheap, rude, and unintelligent comments as a low IQ Arsenal fan who believes he knows everything from his limited and narrow perspective. This isn't merely about typing; it's fundamentally about your intelligence. You type with your fingers, while others think before they write. Thus, it's no wonder you produce so much nonsense for us daily. No one hovers over every thread like you do, you idiot . I haven't seen anyone as involved in every single discussion, as rude as you are to others. Remember, unlike you, I don't whine excessively, nor do I rely on others to back me up in my comments. Ritchey, our performance this year has not been satisfactory; however, we remain in the top five despite numerous injuries and the officiating from Arsenal, which is quite amusing. Currently, we are relying on our third-choice goalkeeper. all the best
