How do you start a conversation with someone you'd like to meet?

Im sick of the "hey hows you?", "hi", "hows it going?" Don't get me wrong i use them myself but now when someone sends that to me in a snap message i just ignore them. I get asked that so many times i get sick of replying to it.

What is the best way to start a conversation?

I always introduced myself by name and my likes and also reflect on the person's profile...but only if im super interested in that person

Thiers is an opener, and a polite way to initiate contact. Its pretty childish to simply dismiss it based on thier choice of polite and normal words. Conversations are 2-way things.

Read their message to see if they have read my profile. Everything they need to know is there, if the message makes sense and I am interested there will always be a reply. Varies from 'great profile and nice pics' to 'sorry you are not what I'm looking for'. Am not afraid to use the block button for the idiots who won't take no for an answer
