Just a quick question to all the winkers out there.....I get people viewing my profile like 10 times a day and then sending a wink but they never send a message..... why?? Genuinely intrigued, especially when it says on my profile i dont reply to winks.

Thank you in advance

Winking just means they like your profile

I get winked at from across the country. If someone is local I may wink back if interested

Sending a message from a mobile is a real chore. I used to wink to open a dialog if the guy was interested. Now I wait until I'm in a cafe and se.d assuage if I remember to.

Some people don't always know how to start a conversation so a wink is their way of saying hello.

Some guys will wink purely because you say you won't reply to them... just to test you.

A wink can be a way of bringing your profile to the attention of someone whose preferences might usually exclude it. If you're outside someone's age range, for instance, a wink might tempt them to take a look and .... still ignore you!

But you never know your luck.

I appreciate a wink but don't reply to them.

A message I will almost always answer, unless that message clearly shows they haven't read my profile.

I use a wink to express interest. It says on my profile 'If I wink I'm interested - up to you if you are'. Saves being seen as pushy. Always take no reply as an answer in itself

Winking is fine by me, says you're interested, see if you're also interested without all the effort of a message.

Not reading the profile is whole different matter, although I do often get winked by people who clearly haven't

Maybe they wink because you say not to?

They might see it as an easy way to wind you up?

Winks are fine. They express an interest. If they are what I’m looking for I’ll reply. I occasionally send one if they are showing as who’s near but not local.

A show of interest, if they wink back or message back, maybe they are interested too?
