So I had to deal with someone who is almost certainly a narcissist - over a prolonged period of time.

I’m out of their grasp now but need to warn someone who now employs them. He doesn’t see it yet as he’s being ’lovebombed’ on a professional level.

It needs to be gentle but firm

Any advice welcomed

Unless tbe person being lovebombed is a friend, in which case just speak to them, it's none of your business. You got away, think yourself lucky. Stay got away.

Would his narcissism affect his ability to do his job?

Yes, he’s not as good as he thinks he is.

Realisation has to come from within as you discovered yourself, I fear your caveat would fall on the deaf ears of the victim at this stage unfortunately. Just give it time and they will gain perspective themselves without your assistance, so be patient and in the meantime steer well clear!

I think I’ll follow the consensus- the guy is a toxic person if ever there was one
