Even if I read a profile I see asking such things as simply conversation. It's nice to hear it from the person you're talking to.

I'll admit sometimes I open a profile and I'm confronted with a novel that I get bored of reading after a paragraph or so.

I have no problem, if someone is gonna get annoyed at basic conversation concerning the most basic of questions on a hookup site purely because they sometimes have to repeat themselves then I probably don't want to meet that person anyway.

People don't read mine all the time and ask me things like can I accommodate/travel or if I do X Y Z but I just have a conversation about it instead and let them know.

Many are cock in hand asking that question, to reply to your answer "Mmmmmmm".

Many shoot quickly and then suffer post cum clarity and end up blocking you.

I dont know why people expect or need others to bend to what they feel they want or need. If you have a question, ask it. If you dont want to answer, don't, and move on without the meltdown. Often these things are just a bridge to start a conversation.
