....when you've arranged a meet and they cancel?

First time....ok, things happen.

Second time....ok, that's annoying but he seems keen.

Third time....just fuck off!

Two chances, like the op said, first meets things can happen life can get in the way and sometimes nerves play a part.

If this happens a second time 5% chance it is genuinely an unavoidable situation, 95% a time waster. Eiyher way I just presume it isn't meant to hapoen.

If I have met before and I know they are genuine and trusted I am more lieniant

i usually travel by bus, so it does involve a fair amount of inconvenience.

They possibly get a second chance if they let me know before i start travelling. Once i'm on my way, they don't.

Depends on the cancellation...how? when? why?.... I use the private note thing to remind me if they come back again...

3 chances...life and families get in the way, especially for partnered guys. So, 1st time fair enough.

2nd time....hmmm, ok, I'll let that go...3rd time an excuse or no show....no way, blocked.

As someone here said, if you've met before and you know them to be genuine, I'm far more forgiving. Some guys have work that calls them away last minute. There has to be some leniency. The worst, for someone who accommodates, is a no show...no word, no communication. The meeting arranged and full address has to be given at some point and they simply don't show. Unforgivable.

In one case it was 5 times. Had chatted with this young guy, arranged to meet up yet he never showed. Never got nasty with him but had written him off as a fantasist and a timewaster. On the fifth occasion I was so unconvinced that he would turn up that I was unprepared e.g. hadn't showered or douched. Lo and behold the doorbell rang and this rather nervous looking lad stood there. He came in, was as nervous as hell, so we sat and chatted for awhile. Eventually we retired to the bedroom, stripped off and had sex. His first time and aged 23. After that he called 4 or 5 times a year over the next few years until I moved away.

2 or 3 times

We all have lives outside of Fab and sometimes other people mean we need to change a meet. However it is generally easy to work out the time waster.

Very frustrating for those of us who go to a lot of effort to meet with others and enjoy our bisexual side

If seem interested definitely your 3

If they still keep cancelling because they are sneaking about and can’t get out then I don’t bother

If they keep trying after 1 st cancel and still no face pic not interested

Men should respect themselves more to get better quality men

My tolerance for giving guys chances has waned over the years.

It's the men who have kept me waiting, never turn up and then apologise afterwards. If you can't make a meet, cancel in advance!

It depends how much notice and or how crass their excuse.

There was one chap who approached me over and over, would always find a reason he couldn’t make it and usually at the last minute. After a few missed hookups I stopped getting ready but would go along with the proposition just to see what new excuse he had.

I’m a lot more selective these days

Depends on circumstances & whether they bothered to explain why they couldn't make it. A plausible explanation and apology = 2 chances. Ghost & not reply to a follow up message = we're done & blocked.

Usually one chance. I'm pretty good at spotting the patterns now. One of the main reasons I don't entertain younger guys they're the worst for being billy big bollocks and then wimping out.

Depends. If someone has obviously ghosted you no second chances.

If it's someone whos genuine and keeps in contact despite cancellations I'll be patient.

The sling pic on my profile is with a lad I met after messaging for about 6 months.

Worth every disappointment to get together, he was awesome.

And in the spirit of our history we've both had to cancel a meet since😁

Don't cut off your nose to spite your face would be my advice😉

A no show means no second chance. They’ll do it again given another chance.

I have someone I see regularly and rarely work and life gets on the way. So I understand there’s a small chance of last minute cancellation.

If we haven’t met before I’m not going to be so understanding

So if the meet is arranged and it’s a no show then I would usually ask the reason why but chances are i would be blocking straight after

If the meet was arranged and they cancelled prior with good reason then i would give the benefit of doubt for a 2nd try

But there definitely wouldn’t be a 3rd !

What we need to understand is we all have a life outside of fab and sometimes life takes priority!

But if you cat has to go to the emergency vets 10 minutes before every meet you make ! Chances are your not really serious about meeting

I'm willing to accept that shit happens but I have an instinct if someone's taking the piss, I make a judgement on each individual case, that said, I'm single and can accommodate so hold all the cards, I don't suffer fools.

If they're genuinely interested they would make the effort. After that they're just wasting your time.

I just say nothing and make no further plans with them. Let them slowly discover I'm on to them.
