Never worn one before but want to try one, what's best to go for, plastic or metal, probably go for a 50mm ring. What's good for not too much cash?

I find the metal ones can nip the skin so I would start with a plastic one. I have both and I do like the metal ones as they are heavier and feel tighter

resign or plastic ones tend to come with about 4 different sized rings which is handy if you are not sure on your ring size

First get a plastic one with multiple rings to find a size that feels good on, snug but not tight. Start with a larger cage then work your way down in size. I get mine from Amazon.

Metal is better for long term wear. It doesnt get as funky, is easier to clean and more rigid. Whatever you try, take your time to get the right size ring, and build up wear time slowly. The fantasy of having one locked on and left is exactly that. A fantasy!

I started out with a CB6000 clear silicone chastity which enabled me to get my retainer ring size correct and being silicone it was easy to get used to.

Being in chastity 24/7 now for 12 yrs and I have progressed to loving pink or Steel negative/inverted but always with a catheter tube.

Which ever you pick make sure you keep it ultra clean always 💋

Are the larger cages good for bigger dicks? Assume they work either way as you can’t get proper hard? X

I got a plastic one called a man cage first, it’s great! Tried a cheap plastic one off Temu but it was sharp, so that got binned.

A metal one off Temu is probably my favourite now though. Nice and weighty an feels good to wear

You can see my dick in my pics. Is fairly large, fits well in a cage. You just need to get one the right size

I have a few. Started off with silicone, then plastic and now metal. I love my flat metal one - my clitty looks cute (I think!).

Getting the right ring size is important. Also, when you put it on put your balls through the ring first and then tuck your cock through.

Finally, I have found an elasticated strap to make it much more secure and comfortable. They are pretty cheap on Ebay and Temu.

Have fun x

I've got a metal one from a site called House of Denial. They have a pretty good range and some advice on how to measure. I've also got a pink plastic one, which I love. There's a vid on my profile of me putting it on. The advice from a previous poster on getting an elasticated strap is good. It lifts the cage and I think makes it more comfortable, and enhances your bulge.

The length of the cage should just just a little bit shorter than you flaccid dick length for a comfortable fit - there shouldn't be a big gap at the end of the cage when your dick's in it.

The ring should be just slightly larger than the circumference around your dick and balls with a small bit extra for comfort to allow for long term wear.

you may need to try a few different ones before you find the one that works best for you.

if you look round various chastity blogs you may find some guides on how to measure & get the best fit.

I've had tons of cages over the years. I've found plastics ones often have sharps bits on it which obviously isn't ideal. Metal ones just tend to be smoother, easier to clean, more secure and the weight is nicer but I would recommend a strap.

Over the years also my cages have just gotten smaller and smaller, weirdly enough the small cages are the most comfortable. I currently have a flat cage with a 50mm ring but am looking to swap to a flat cage which has an inverter add on and a screw on dildo add on also.

My dick is quite girthy and my balls are a decent size too so I find the solid rings difficult to get on.

The one that's in my pics is ok but very bulky.

Is anyone else in a similar situation and what do you use?

A plastic one with different ring sizes is a good option to start with but also think about the length of the cage itself. Sites that sell them will have different sizes and will usually have advice on measuring ring size and cock length.

Some metal ones might have a hinged ring that makes it easier to put on. You don't then have to manoeuvre your balls and cock through a solid ring to get it on. But you still need to measure to get the best size.

I had a funny reaction to a black plastic one I bought on Amazon, looked like I had a allergic reaction and I only wore it overnight.

Absolutely love my metal one and the catheter tube feels amazing.
