Im a single guy thinking of going to Torremolinos in a few weeks as I hear the gay bar/cruising scene is pretty good.

Would anyone recommend it for a young minded 60 year old?

Yes - Hotel Ritual great with superb sauna. The main sauna in town is also very good. Loads of bars and clubs nearby.
