Apart from anything else, I choose to show face pics so I can obviate the unpleasantness of somebody turning up and getting all "nah, don't fancy ya".

I'm under no illusions I'm handsome or pretty or any other sort of attractive, I probably wouldn't do me just based on a face pic, but it's the honest thing to do and at least if somebody does blow a meet out based on looks, they can't say they weren't warned.
