They used to have air defence regiments (RA) When I was in the army, they used to practice on remote controlled planes. Plus RAF Coningsby has a sqn of jets always ready to go, they got scrambled a while back early on a Sunday morning and sonic boomed over where I live near London | |||

Here's the BBC report: Two Iranian men have appeared in court accused of conducting hostile surveillance of Jewish targets in London on behalf of the Iranian Intelligence Service (IIS). Nematollah Shahsavani, 40, and Alireza Farasati, 22, have both been charged with engaging in conduct likely to assist a foreign intelligence service, under section three of the new National Security Act.
