Anyone else finding the number of photos being posted that are manipulated is getting out of hand.

Not being a killjoy and no doubt will get slagged off but I want to see the real person warts and all if you forgive the expression.

I crop, adjust light and blur background on mine.

The amount of face tune being used is silly. One person I met used so much it was hysterical. I laughed when I saw him. I asked who the hell was in his pics? At least it’s so obvious these days

I don’t care if you want to adjust the contrast/lighting etc on a picture. In 2026 I’d kind of expect that. I try not to do it too much myself.

But when you’re using FaceTune or the like to change your pics completely…what is the point? A guy sent me a picture earlier where he’d made himself look like a CGI supermodel…if we meet you’re not gonna look like that!

Yeah I actually hate this, I don’t use face apps or AI cause I think CatFishing is just stupid. Like yeah I obviously change the black point and contrast for a few images or the saturation but changing your face completely I just don’t get it if you have any intention of meeting or going on cam lol x

Good pics are all about good lighting primarily anyway. Get some daylight from a decent sized window in an otherwise darkish room (never use mixed day and artificial light) and work the highlights and shadows. It flatters any body, as well as making it not look like you're sneaking a selfie when the wife's asleep

Can't be good for the younger fellas body confidence. Bad enough judging yourself in comparison to porn actors, models and filmstars; now they are bombarded with guys that literally don't exist with bodies that are impossible to achieve and cocks that defy nature.

It’s people’s choice, however if they arrange a meeting then get a negative response because they look nothing like the pictures they have on profile, then that’s not really fair for the person who they are meeting

Altered photos should be banned completely. Even a little 'tweak' is misrepresenting who you are. If a guy doesn't look like his pics I say so and walk away. Just a guy saying he is 'average' build when he has put on 3 stone and clearly is now 'large'

Hear hear 100% mate.

Crop, make it brighter - so we can all see the goods. That’s all fine. But pure AI changes that totally changes the image. Utter nonsense. At the moment, easy to spot and I avoid such profile. Dread to think what little gremlin is sat waiting on the other side of the phone 🙈
