Boss on holiday for a week. I'm holding the baby (£1m+ turnover firm) and have to manage production schedules, deliveries, order processing, customers and whatever else comes up.

Bricking it, impostor syndrome in full swing. Wish me luck!

Hump day and I'm absolutely shattered. Herding cats while juggling plates about describes it.

Even had to cancel a long awaited and much anticipated meet last night because maybe some are different from me, but I can't view sexy fun as relaxation, I'd have been way too wound up to enjoy it or be good company. So I guess that means I join the ranks of the fab timewasters although I did have the decency to let him know on Monday I was going to have to bail, due to not wanting to bring my wrecked head along.

I did it! Weeks end and the company's still standing; we kept working; I hopefully sorted out a few customers to their satisfaction.

And got a nice little cash bonus off the MD, half of which has gone on some filet steaks and posh wine for Mrs Stefi and I tonight, and I'm going to get a big load of beers for the lads on the factory floor with the other half as a thanks on Monday, most of whom have worked there way longer than me and whose generous help and experience was hugely appreciated by me.

Win all round and hopefully not too many dropped bollocks to dampen my spirits next week (there will inevitably have been mistakes but nobody expected perfection, least of all me).
