Meanwhile NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte is saying 22 countries are preparing a joint response.

He also acknowledged the need for action in iran 'to keep the world safe' and made excuses for natos previous lack of support and asked for trumps 'understanding' over their hesitancy

If we'd taken that stance with Israel years ago all this would most likely have been avoided. A pity it's too late to put the Djinn back in the bottle.

Israel has always been the problem, not only that but the west's ineffectual handling of that problem.

It is possible this is another step in the manufacturing of consent.

1. Trump threatens to pull out of NATO

2. Imminent threats on European border

3. Iranian missiles exceed range and accuracy expectations.

4. French General tells Trump to F.O.

5. An "Event"

6. The French and European NATO allies more inclined to increase military spending, and active involvement with the Iran conflict.

I've always thought that to be a little unfair.

The Nazi propaganda machine used to taunt their enemies with claims that the British were “determined to fight to the last Frenchman”.

Absoloute nonsense. The problem is how the quran forbids muslims from living peacefully alongside jews as equals. Jews have the same claim to be in the land as the palestinians, jews have repatedly compromised, the arabs have repeatedly tried to exterminate them.

The Israelis have offered accommodation with the Palestinians on several occasions, including from the early days of its establishment. All have been turned down.

The Palestinian authority is unbelievably corrupt and does nothing for its people. They turn a blind eye to terrorism against Israel and indeed it is actively encouraged in their schools.

The Israeli government encourages its more extreme population to infiltrate the West Bank as it sees it as a barrier to Palestinian terrorism. Some in the government support the idea of a greater Israel anyway.

Many Israelis support this because they are tired of the existential threats posed by Hamas to the South, Hezbollah to the North and a pusillanimous PLA to the West that has no intention to honour its agreements with Israel.

Like it or not Netanyahu sees his job as defending the integrity of his country now that history has shown that agreement with the various factions trying to destroy that country is as far away as ever.

The common link with those factions, including groups in Syria, is Iran.

The extreme level of anti Israel feeling in the West only reinforces Netanyahu’s determination.

War and terrorism is never pretty, but the lack of understanding of Israel’s position is so disheartening.

It is a country of astonishing achievements. Unfortunately it is forced to use much of its technical achievements in the cause of war - through no fault of its own.

What I always wonder is what do people expect to take its place if it’s wiped out. And how many of the voices calling for its destruction will call against the bloodshed that would result?

"Trump doesn't understand the word 'No'.

In more ways than one."

Trump also doesn’t seem to understand that NATO is a defensive pact formed to counter the threat of the former Soviet Union - an attack on one is an attack on all, which would include the threat posed by Putin and his invasion of Ukraine.

NATO isn’t and has never been an offensive alliance - member countries are not at the beck and call of the USA every time they decide to invade (or start bombing) other countries.

Individual alliance members may decide to assist if they choose to for whatever reason, but are not obligated to. If Iran were to directly launch an unprovoked attack on a member country that would be a different matter.

They don't count as some sort of top trumps type 'gotcha'. Your argument is low iq, emotive nonsense.

People dying is sad but your statement is totally ignorant of the fact its a war. You want to cry about dead gazans but ignore dead israelis, dead iranians, massacres in sudan, pakistan killing 400 civillians in an attack on kabul hospital, turkey's ethnic cleansing of the kurds etc. Lots of russians have died in their war, should ukraine put down tbeir weapons...?

Your selective outrage is pathetic and your attempts at emotional manipulation is abhorrent.

Why don't these guy go start their own topic instead of constantly hijacking others? Is this the only way they think people actually read the garbage the preach.

The same participants, regurgitating the same points, giving and getting the same answers as always, and none of them wise enough to know they will never change the others point of view, whilst blindly believing they are completely correct about it all."

Ironic that you regurgitated and repeated a post without even adding anything to it....

It doesnt even pertain to the topic of the thread. Thats some top tier projection, well done

"Meanwhile NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte is saying 22 countries are preparing a joint response.

Israel is not the problem

So you're ok with them killing thousands of people in Palestine then? They don't count?

"

Nice try, I've repeatedly mentioned the dead Iranians but you haven't given a single mention to people killed by Netanyahu, I don't think you've even mentioned his name when many of us have said he's leading Trump around.

Netanyahu is a vile peace of shit now asking the rest of the world to help demolish Iran.

Israel is not the problem

It has always been the problem. The stupid can’t see it nor question why…

Absoloute nonsense. The problem is how the quran forbids muslims from living peacefully alongside jews as equals. Jews have the same claim to be in the land as the palestinians, jews have repatedly compromised, the arabs have repeatedly tried to exterminate them.

What are you smoking ,

The Israelis have expanded the settlements year on year they will never share the land .

If you see your farms burned your family beaten by nazi Israeli settlers are you to walk away from your generational land or fight"

You know how Israel got that land in the first place? They got those territories by winning them from those who invaded them, stop being a clown

Fun fact. Jericho is in the west bank and israelis arent allowed to enter.

Another fun fact, modern day palestinians are mostly descendants of 19th and 20th century immigrants from arab countries that moved there after jews improved the economic landscape and developed the land.

Israel get their money by being sucessful and clever in business. They work hard, invest, invent, innovate, educate their children.

Check out what israelis have created. Also, remember this list the next time someone pretends they are boycotting israeli goods.

Various reasons. People dont like wars. Some people are easily swayed by arguments that appeal to emotion rather than fact and logic, some believed the lies coming from hamas and the rabid parts of the pro pali movements.

Now you tell me, how much support has israel actually lost?

To me it seems that most anti israel were already anti israel. They just started to shout louder.

It’s little wonder you agree with the poster’s dubious history lesson considering you didn’t know Iranians are not Arabs.

Re the history lesson, Armenian is an indo European language which would not have been spoken in the ancient Levant.

Hebrew is significantly older in any case.

Your other ‘facts’ are quite muddled too.

‘Palestinian DNA,’ whilst ignoring the problem with that term historically anyway, puts them predominantly from Lebanon, Syria & Jordan.

I can only compare it to the history of the British Isles only beginning with the arrival of the English and ignorance of everything prior.

If we'd taken that stance with Israel years ago all this would most likely have been avoided. A pity it's too late to put the Djinn back in the bottle.

"General Nicolas Richoux on live television told Trump to go fuck himself after mocking and bullying Nato but then asking for their help.

General Richoux I salute you sir! 🫡 "

The French wouldn’t be enjoying their liberty & freedom if it wasn’t for the Americans. Twice.

The ungrateful French also blackballed their British saviours twice to join the EEC.

The USA should withdraw from NATO and invite less treacherous nations to join a new pact, solid allies like the Poles, Finns & Baltic nations.

Let’s see how far the French, the Spanish, who’d prefer to spend virtually nothing into NATO & instead give their entire defence budget to half a million illegals and the dithering British last without the US defensively.

At least the British could join once PM Farage is elected.

"After the August attack by hamas, Israel had the sympathy and backing of all of the free world.....something happened in the meantime, and now a lot of the allies refuse to help America and israel, against a bunch of lunatic clerics....I wonder what changed their minds.....?

August?

I'll ask again, August?....August happened after August...?....who knew...?

Hamas attacked on oct 7th.

If you can get such basic things wrong its no wonder you struggle with the rest of it. ...ok...so after the October attack...why did Israel lose support?

Various reasons. People dont like wars. Some people are easily swayed by arguments that appeal to emotion rather than fact and logic, some believed the lies coming from hamas and the rabid parts of the pro pali movements.

Now you tell me, how much support has israel actually lost?

To me it seems that most anti israel were already anti israel. They just started to shout louder. "

Any knowledgeable individual understands the origins of the conflict; there is no necessity to expend your energy on a group of individuals who are oblivious to the situation, as they have never ventured beyond their own confines. They are unaware of Gaza's location and how Hamas would confront them. If you launch thousands of missiles with the intent to eliminate all Israelis, do not anticipate that they will return and express gratitude. #whatabout

Not very good at history, are you?

The "nakba" was 700,000 and its one of the biggest palestinian lies.

They werent forced out by israel, they were following the orders of thd arab leaders who told them to evacuate the area and promised they could return after their armies had anihilated the jews.

Problem was that they lost the war they started. The 150,000 arabs who didnt leave became israeli citizens and are the foundation of the 2 million arab isrseli population today.

The israeli declaration of independance states -

"WE APPEAL - in the very midst of the onslaught launched against us now for months - to the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve peace and participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its provisional and permanent institutions.

WE EXTEND our hand to all neighboring states and their peoples in an offer of peace and good neighborliness, and appeal to them to establish bonds of cooperation and mutual help with the sovereign Jewish people settled in its own land. The State of Israel is prepared to do its share in a common effort for the advancement of the entire Middle East."

1948 Khaled al-Azm on Palestinian Refugees

Khaled al-Azm, the Prime Minister of Syria in 1948-49:  “SINCE 1948 WE HAVE BEEN DEMANDING THE RETURN OF THE REFUGEES TO THEIR HOMES. BUT WE OURSELVES ARE THE ONES WHO ENCOURAGED THEM TO LEAVE.  ONLY A FEW MONTHS SEPARATED OUR CALL TO THEM TO LEAVE AND OUR APPEAL TO THE UNITED NATIONS TO RESOLVE ON THEIR RETURN.” “… The fifth factor (e.g. For the Arab failure in 1948) was the call by the Arab governments to the inhabitants of Palestine to evacuate it and leave for the bordering Arab countries … We brought destruction upon a million Arab refugees by calling on them and pleading with them to leave their land.” Source The Memoirs of Khaled al-Azm

British police report from Haifa. 26th April, 1948 -

"An appeal has been made to the Arabs by the Jews to reopen their shops and businesses in order to relieve the difficulties of feeding the Arab population. Evacuation was still going on yesterday and several trips were made by 'Z' craft to Acre. Roads too, were crowded with people leaving Haifa with all their belongings. At a meeting yesterday afternoon Arab leaders reiterated their determination to evacuate the entire Arab population and they have been given the loan of ten 3-ton military trucks as from this morning to assist the evacuation."

Trump's not very good at reading world maps. NATO is the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. The Arabian Sea has no connection with the North Atlantic.

The NATO charter calls for member countries to asssist any nember if their country is attacked. Iran didn't attack the US,nor any other country before Mango Mussolini ignored advice from his own cabinet and top generals to launch his "3-day Special Operation".

For more about such Special Operations check out Putin and Ukraine.

There were no concentration camps and the arabs of the time admit they ordered them to leave. Its pretty wild that you claim to know better than those who lived it, especially when i've provided the evidence for people to check for themselves and the numbers are well documented. They also fled to arab territories so how could israel even put them in concentration camps?

"Meanwhile NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte is saying 22 countries are preparing a joint response.

If you see your farms burned your family beaten by nazi Israeli settlers are you to walk away from your generational land or fight

👍👍

👏👏👏👍👍👍 Yes, and 70,000 Palestinians forced off their land and placed in a concentration camp, utterly disgraceful.

I am afraid that you are once again spouting nonsense, between 250 and 300 thousand Palestinians were expelled and at least 70,000 were placed in concentration camps, and this was done by the Zionist authorities. Please refrain from telling porky’s. I am well aware that your hero the pedo thinks it’s acceptable, but actually it’s not.

"Well, the French are surrender specialists... Good performers in TV studios, though.

Yes, they surrendered - after a much harder fight than seems to be acknowledged. And it was after we ran away, I seem to recall (aka the huge victory that was Dunkirk)

👏👏👏👍👍 Exactly so, and as understood it the French resistance fought the Nazi’s with tremendous courage to the end. I once again congratulate the general.

Hahaha 😆

Don’t be so silly.

Victory in WW2 needed huge manpower, massive armies, trench warfare, air & sea supremacy, legions of tanks, payloads of bombs the world had never seen before etc etc

Not the odd Frenchman hiding behind a garden wall taking a pop every now & then at a random Jerry…😆"

Although Trump is vile, there is a kernel of truth in that Europe has not invested enough in its own defence. That either means drastic cuts in other areas of spending or tax rises. Neither of which we seem overly keen on. It suits Trump if we get sidetracked into cheap jibes at our neighbours. Bitching about the French, Germans or Italians is a diversion we can’t afford to indulge in.

People who support the paedophile criminal will always attempt to defend him by any means they can find, there is no level to which they will not stoop. It seems now because I fully support General Richoux that I am being attacked by these twisted individuals. Yes I am from NI and I am 70 yo, what is criminal in any of that I’m afraid I cannot help, you will have to discuss that with the paedophile enthusiast’s.

Again I offer my congratulations to General Richoux, and the sooner the paedophile is brought before the law and jailed the better.

"Another fun fact, modern day palestinians are mostly descendants of 19th and 20th century immigrants from arab countries that moved there after jews improved the economic landscape and developed the land.

Israel get their money by being sucessful and clever in business. They work hard, invest, invent, innovate, educate their children."

On another thread the poster states quite clearly that fact is equal to truth. I countered that by stating that, while a fact is an absolute, there are many truths depending on the viewpoint of the observer.

This is a prime example of such a subjective truth. The poster writes with such conviction that he must truly believe it.

However, studies in genetics show that modern day Palestinians share 80-90% of their DNA with their Canaanite ancestors. Not only that but more recent studies have shown that their ancestry dates back to the Epipalaeolithic people known as Natufians around 15,000 years ago. Such high numbers can also be found in the people of Lebanon and in groups in Syria and Jordan and further afield following their displacement due to the sacking of Canaan allegedly by the Jews circa 1200BC (see Deuteronomy 20:16-17). This is glorified in The Book of Joshua which boasts how the pagans were 'utterly annihilated'. Only they weren't, most continued to live in what was to become the Jewish kingdoms.

Therefore, it can be seen that Palestinians have inhabited the region in an unbroken line for many millenia whereas the 'returning' Jews, much altered since they left, have not. To quote one eminent academic and historian and Jew, please note, "the Jews returning to the land of Palestine are not the Jews that left at The Fall of the Second Temple". Studies into Jewish DNA reveal only 20-50% Levantine origin giving lie to the claims of ancestral heritage, that it actually belongs to the Palestinians, in direct contradiction to a prime tenet of the Zionist concept of the right to return.

One must wonder, therefore, that if the poster can be this wrong about such a basic fact then what else is he wrong about?

I should also add that Israel get their money by presenting themselves as victims to the world, primarily to the USA. IN 1948 Golda Meir successfully raised $50million dollars in America for the foundation of Israel. Since then the USA have continually bankrolled Israel in the form of 'aid'.

"

...do you actually think that " not getting along with your neighbours " was the cause of the troubles in Northern Ireland...?...hahaha

No one cares!

Stop hijacking threads with irrelevance....it was your buddies who brought up Northern Ireland....do try to keep up..

Wish these guys would bugger off and start their own topics instead of constantly hijacking other people's.

Ironic that you spend most of your time crying about what other people post and telling people how you want them to behave rather than posting about the topic (or anything of relevance) yourself roxy was complaining about you....hahaha

Your lack of comprehension and reading ability is showing, again.....nonsense...when he said "stop hijacking threads with irrelevance "....we all knew who he was talking about...hahaha

He was literally talking to you. Also, my reply wasnt to, or about roxy's comment.

Try reading a little slower if you are struggling,...nope...beef and fur brought up Northern Ireland...you agreed with him....and roxy called you two out....hahaha

Called us out by telling you to to stop hijacking threads?

You didnt really think that through, did you? ...ok...let's take it line by line...beef and fur posted a very stupid comment about a poster from Northern Ireland commenting on the situation in the middle east....are you with me so far...?.....you concurred, I then posted...roxy they made the ill advised "irrelevance " post....(he hasn't been seen since)...as the yanks would say....you guys are in a circle jerk......hope that cleared things up for you....hahaha "

An excellent summation of how these paedophile supports have behaved, totally shameless.

"Another fun fact, modern day palestinians are mostly descendants of 19th and 20th century immigrants from arab countries that moved there after jews improved the economic landscape and developed the land.

Israel get their money by being sucessful and clever in business. They work hard, invest, invent, innovate, educate their children.

"

Golda meir raised money from american jews. Succesful jews who made an investment. You arent really proving my point wrong by bringing this up. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Your dna waffle is flawed as you are misrepresenting both the data, and what i said.

I never said there hasn't been a continuous/indigenous population but you are ignoring that there are also jews in israel that have the same claim of unbroken lineage/residence.

Also, that the current population of both jews and 'palestinians' have members that are 'outsiders', for want of a better word.

There is no real difference in both sides 'right' to live there. The difference is that the palestinians refuse to accept it and the pro palis try to whitewash it as indigenous vs colonisers by cherry picking their info and portraying their opinion as 'the truth' to deny actual fact.

You are now being asked to believe that the millions of Zionists who flocked into Israel from Europe never happened 😂😂😂. As for the 50 million dollars donated by Americans, how do you know who contributed to that fund.

Are you denying, then, that you wrote that modern day Palestinians are mostly descended from 19th and 20th Century immigrants?

Palestinians have existed in an unbroken line in the region for millenia, Jews have not. In 1900 Jews numbered less than 8% of the population. Whether they can both claim ancestral heritage or not is moot. The above evidence surely would suggest that the true right of occupation rests with the Palestinians not the Jews. If not, by that same logic, we should give England back to the Welsh. Palestinians were Arabised by the incoming Muslims, not supplanted.

As for waffle my views on lineage are widely accepted by both scientists and historians. This is the true meaning of fact as in 'based on available evidence'. There is no manipulation, it's there in black and white.

Roxy didnt get anything wrong. You should stop hijacking threads.

By hijacking threads i refer to how your comments are obtuse, irrelevent, skittish and pretty much idiotic trolling and illogical lies. Beef made a comment that whilst off topic it still had some relevance to the topic. You however have tried to derail the thread by talking about it relentlessly, lying about it and basicaly just desparately trying (and failing) to score points and save face.

Its like talking to a petulant teenager.

I said it and i stand by it. The 'indigenous' population of both jews and 'palestinians' was small and the population increased greatly via immigration (mostly arab) from the 1800's. Most people living there dont have long ancestral ties to the land.

Jews have always been in palestine.

You say the claim is mute, its not. Being outnumbered by immigrants does not alter their right to be in the land.

Scientists and historians dont agree with your view, they agree with some of the true facts you are using to misrepresent 'the truth'
