Why and when does a thread get deleted?

I started a thread last week, came on today to see if there were any more responses, and the thread has been deleted.

Anyone know any reasons why this happens?

Typically threads are only usually deleted if they have broken the forum rules and the admins have seen or someone reported it. If the thread didn’t break the rules then you’d need to ask the admins.

Just do a search for threads you have commented on - should show it up.

Threads inviting blokes to wank over the starter's wife or gf tend to get deleted because they don't belong here, was yours one of those?

Obviously anything illegal gets stomped on pretty quick.

It might not have been your post at all. If your thread is used by other discussing women or anything taboo or untowards it will be deleted. So you may have been a casualty of other's behaviour

Did that,

And a search.

It’s not overly important, just like to know.

No, it was called “fancy women, crave cock”.

I do know sometimes mentioning women gets frowned upon.

I've had this many times. Thread with nothing out of the ordinary on it gets fully deleted because some sad little keyboard warriors deliberately hijack it.

I dont take offence though as the mods generally do a good job (especially with the likes of those grim stepson posts recently)

Usually a "when did you first have sex" thread.

Someone always mentions underage experiences so they remove them as a matter of course now!

Often the sexual fantasy or when was your first time?, some guys cross the line to inappropriate / illegal.

Stick to over 18, consenting and unrelated adults and it should be fine.

It’s unfortunate, but some posters seem to feel they are “entitled” to post whatever they want just because the site doesn’t automatically block them - I’ve had a few people come back with that argument in the past when pointing out to them it is not appropriate for this site.

When they do that part way down a thread and the mods/admins pick it up the delete the thread or as they have done a few times close the thread with a message saying why it has been closed, unfortunately the offenders seem incapable of taking the hint and just start up another thread with more of the same - now they just seem to be deleted.

Not sure if they get a time out, or not, but it doesn’t seem to stop some of them.

Simple rule of thumb should be if you want to talk about sex involving women (or women’s bodies) do it on the swingers site, if you want to talk about sex with men only do it here.

So even though sexuality can be bisexual on the profile drop down menu on here, one cannot then create a topic of bisexual activity?

I think those offering to swap pics and clothing are deleted as it is a consent issue. Possibly due to revenge porn laws.

I didn't say it was acceptable on here, as far as I'm concerned it's not, the levels of sexism and misogyny in some of those threads is off the scale, I was simply saying it wouldn't be tolerated on Fabswingers.

But that perceived problem would still exist with a gay male couple where only one of that couple is a member on here but starts a thread about gay couple sexual activity.

Consent is still an issue, however, this is a site for men to have sex with men, the banner at the top of the page says' "Fun, Free and Fabulous For Gay Guys" it doesn't mean you can't be bisexual, just don't start threads about sex with women, female celebs and female politicians, chat about sex with women doesn't belong on here, Fabswingers is the place for that, though some of the female related threads that go up on here wouldn't go down well on Fabswingers because of the the levels of sexism and misogyny contained with in them.

My understanding of ‘Bi’ is that you are sexually attracted to men and women?! As for talking sexually about them, what’s the issue as long as people are not sharing pics etc. It’s a joke to say we can’t mention famous females, yet you can talk about wanting to fuck male celebs haha!

As someone has put quite eloquently on another thread in the feedback forum, this is (supposedly) a safe space in which Bi men can explore the man on man side of their sexuality, not a place to talk about shagging their (or others) wives/gf’s etc. or engage in the sort of talk they have been behind their partners back - they have the rest of the internet for that.

Well, that escalated…

My original post was basically saying that, even when I’m alone I can’t stop looking at women, have a bit of an ogle whenever I get the chance and given the opportunity I would sleep with them.

Every time I get home and fancy some me time, my go to is this site and gay porn and I’m constantly thinking about giving bj’s.

And guys with similar feelings were chatting..

I don’t see anything wrong, even if the chat did turn bi, the guys involved in the chat may be on here looking for other guys but turn ons still involve women.

The general consensus seems to be the thread was deleted as someone said something that was against the rules…

"Why does talking about women ‘not belong on here?’ "

Because the vast majority of the time it's just blokes talking about other blokes wanking off into their wives' knickers, or swapping them, or slagging their wives off for not putting out any more, and the vast majority of the time done without the wives' knowledge or consent.

Equally seedy. It's the knowledge and consent thing really.

Like I said above, candaulism (posh word for swinging I suppose, although it's defined as deriving sexual gratification from offering a partner to others) is a super hot kink if the partner is aware and consenting, but if they're not it's just a plain old chargeable offence if you get nobbled.

It is quite possible that some Bi men don’t want to talk about sex with women when they are with another man, they are getting away from that side of Bi and exploring their man on man sex side of it.

Bi is an option here to provide (what should be) a safe space to explore the male sex side of being Bi, which of course can be shared between Bi AND Gay men.

As others have pointed out there are plenty of other sites that cater for the mixed sex groups, this isn’t one of them, and (as the mods have made quite clear now) all the Women/GF talk is not allowed.

Agree that TV’s and TS’s should be separate categories.
