Let them go, If that’s what they want to do, let them go.

It doesn’t mean that they are better than you, it just means that they they think they deserve better than you.

That’s a hard pill to swallow!

But you know what, just give them the biggest wake up call they’ve ever had.

Become the person that they said you couldn’t be. Be the absolute best version of yourself and trust, that you will become the one that got away!

They will doubt that decision if you become the person they said you couldn’t become - they will always doubt their decision, trust in this…

So, go and have that glow up, come back better, bigger and stronger than ever before.

It’s going to be alright.

Well, looking at your pics, if "judging by the cover" is right in this context, he was a fool and should already be regretting it.

The only caveat to your premise, for me, is what if the version of you he desired genuinely never was and never will be you? Do you really want to become that person just to spite him?
