Phimosis can some times be helped with a bit of patience and lub,

Long term the guy might need to become a round head if nothing else to help with hygiene and comfort

It can be caused by diabetes (or aggravated by it)

It can also be a side effect of medication used to control type 2 diabetes.

From a medical web source

I guess if you’ve had this all your life you have nothing to compare with, so it’s not really a problem - the guy on Dartmoor referred to could still enjoy sex & cum. If you get it later in life as a result of Diabetes or medication I suspect it’s more of an issue - must be pretty painful and off putting if you suddenly find it’s happening later in life. I have a mate who’s just been diagnosed as Type 2 Diabetic & has alluded that this is an issue for him. He didn’t go into any great detail & I suspect he’s a bit embarrassed but I know he’s not very happy about it ……similarly his wife apparently ….

I developed Phimosis and was circumcised early last year.

Pre-circumcision I could peel back my foreskin when I was soft so I could keep myself clean. It wouldn’t retract when I was hard which I hated. Don’t assume that guys who have Phimosis aren’t clean. There’s probably as many cheesy knobs out there who don’t have Phimosis and are too lazy to keep themselves clean.

So….on this….I agree that a foreskin that can never be rolled back needs medical attention….cleanliness being the key factor not to mention possibly discomfort etc.

However….using myself as an example…mine is a bit tight when erect but perfectly normal when soft. Cleanliness is therefore not an issue and also never had any issues with it.

However at the end of the day it’s personal preference.

My foreskin got where I couldn’t slip it back to reveal head, so eventually had a circumcision and while I only had a relatively small cock pre op it was definitely much smaller post op. But it made my mind up I had a small cock so have maintained that since hence my profile name.
