I suggest u see an osteopath who know about the pain of sciatica . I suffered with it most of my adult life . If u just go for massage they could damage the nerve even more

Probably not, massage is tissue manipulation, sciatica is nerve pain and that nerve is too deep to be touched by massage. Some good easy to do physio can give almost instant relief. Great vids on you tube.

physio not massage is what’s needed pal, have it myself now and again, some unusual stretching positions usually helps ease the pain.

You may find a sports masseur could provide some temporary relief but as others have said, it’s a nerve condition & will need physio & potentially anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs to get a lasting improvement.

Also consider a blood test, a lack of B12 contributes to nerve damage. Suffered for years with lots of different “remedies”.

B12 shots cured it.

The only thing a massage will do is help you smile. Well, it does when we do it. Lol

Worth a try but you should definitely go get in the queue to see GP first
