Am in a bit of a mess … am a straight acting single gay guy that’s not out of the closet. I have a fuck buddy that wants a relationship and I must admit I’m seriously thinking about it as my feelings for him are growing but it would mean me coming out but I’m extremely apprehensive about that and how my family would react……it’s starting to mess with my head as I don’t know what to do as I don’t want to hurt my buddy or my family…….not expecting answers on here but a bit of advice may help cheers

From my experience, its very likely your family already know, or at least suspect. Millions of outwardly staight-seeming gay men have come out and thier world didn't end, and for the most part, the family just went "thats nice, what's for dinner?". They will want you to be happy. Not everyone will approve, but then again you dont need their approval. Will a relationship with this friend make you happy? Is is achievable or pie in the sky fantasy? Are you compatible beyond sex? If your gut says go for it, do exactly that. The rest of the puzzle will fall into place on its own. Good luck.

You definitely need to think beyond just sex no matter how hot and horny it is. If you're going to make a go of a relationship you need compatibility in so many more ways than just getting your balls drained on the regular

Exactly this. Id never leave my Mrs for a guy but I love the sex with guys. I am lucky she loves sex with other ladies so that makes us a perfect match. Think hard is it only sex that turns you on about him or could you really fall in love with the man before you even consider coming out as gay.
