Congratulations to Lincoln City on their promotion - tremendous achievement for one of the smaller budget teams ….. imagine them rolling up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in August for the first game of the 2026 / 27 Championship

Looks like Coventry will replace Spurs in the Prem - well done Frank Lampard for sticking at it after all the crap he got @ Chelsea & Everton. Proved he’s got what it takes as a Manager ….unlike his contemporaries Rooney & Gerrard …..who have, quite frankly been shit as managers, despite being the better players of this particular threesome.

I fancy Ipswich to go back up with them & Southampton to eventually join them via the Playoffs.

The Championship proving to be the most exciting & unpredictable league competition in Europe ….yet again. Who needs the Premier League prima donnas ?

Lincoln's achievement is nothing short of miraculous. If players are coached correctly and managers are given time then the rewards will come.

I have some Lincoln supporting cousins who will rib me mercilessly while my lot are almost down. 3-1 home defeat to a rubbish Wigan side yesterday was as bad as I've seen all year.
