It was a complete and utter travesty that it was cancelled after only one series.

Unfortunately most of the brilliance stemmed from Joss Whedon and he is somewhat problematic these days.

😶😶😶😶😶

I know - let’s remake a popular TV classic series with a dullard who looks like he’s from the Addams Family and has courted controversy by flings with 16 yr old girls and radio r@pe jokes and who may be facing a lawsuit for just walking off from another TV series he was making… with, his best friend, the weird Christian-convert creep who is charged with multiple cases of r@pe and sexual assault… What could possibly go wrong..?!

Saying that, the BBC would probably bite your hand off for this innovative idea…

Jim'll Fix It

I wrote to him 3 times as a child and still never got to sit on his knee, it would be my dream come true

Jim'll Fix It is a British television series broadcast by the BBC, presented by Jimmy Savile and running for almost two decades, between May 1975 and July 1994. Devised by Bill Cotton, the show encouraged children to write a letter to Savile with a "wish" that would come true at the end of each episode, upon which the child would be granted a medal

This was my go-to also, but not because of the "Futuristic" outfits. There was a dark undertone to the story about how much Straker was prepared to sacrifice for the good of humanity and the organisation, he even sacrificed his son for the lives of civilians.

It was more twisted than you would initially suspect, particularly from a Gerry Anderson production.

Hard to think of something that could define it

Sci fi..somehow a group of people were lost in space and the were all in cryo sleep apart from a bloke and I think his kid and it was there adventures in finding their way home and being able to wake their people up.

Had a Greek mythical god theme through every adventure. Main bloke has a beard..bit of an otter!

"Loads of these contributions I’ve never even heard of let alone watched so I guess a first time watch would be as good as a reboot because I wouldn’t have a clue anyway??"

Luke's Kingdom (1976)

Luke Firbeck is determined that his settlement in the outback is going to be his kingdom. He is ruthless. He has a deep attraction for his sister - Jassy

You wouldn't get it reboot today due to the sexual scenes with his sister

"Bergerac"

There is a new version being aired on UDrama but it's rubbish compared to the John Nettles version.
