Newport

M&S mostly if going in person, Ocado (still M&S) if online. The service is way better, and it's really not that much more expensive anymore than the other supermarkets. The quality is much better so I hardly waste or throw anything away. Meats always British, but I try get to a local butcher. I'll nip to Tesco if I need something particular.

Sainsbury’s and a local farm shop. Very occasionally I will pop into Aldi if they’ve got a decent wine that’s been recommended.

Just switched to Waitrose from Asda and prices pretty much the same but their fresh fruit was more organic

Near Lutterworth

Aldi for wine, cheese, chocolate digestives and tin soup, plus anything that catches my eye in the middle Isles, including a couple of cuties that work there.

Waitrose for bread and fish.

Morrisons for most other things.

North London (outer)

Amazon mostly, apart from groceries which can be from Waitrose, M&S or Asda. I already own several pro quality drum carts and wouldn't recommend any from Aldi.

Mostly Aldi’s, occasionally Tesco and Waitrose. Live out in the countryside, so get odd things (and Fresh eggs) from farm shops

Waterlooville at night

I don't understand why people still shop at Tesco. They are expensive, and they are always being exposed for exploiting customers. The latest one is adding modified potato starch and water to beef mince. But then - every little helps (Tesco).

West London

I loathe and detest my local Sainsburys.

Everything about it is 3rd rate, the building, the employees, the range of foods.

The delicatessen counter was killed off years ago, the vegetables are half rotten, lots of tins are dented and the "bakery" is a fucking joke and let's pass over the selection of meat and wet fish.

It is to shopping what McDonalds are to fine dining

BUT if you want acres of crisps, fizzy drinks, toilet rolls and nasty milk chocolate confectionery then this is the place for you

Aldi or Tesco because they are both within half a mile. Prefer Morrisons but the nearest one is 26 miles away.
