Cross-dressing is a very common fetish among the bisexuals and 'straight' guys.

Shame, as it ruins a lot of otherwise sexy guys. Total boner killer.

There have been suggestions that another spin-off site, maybe called fabtrannies, might be popular and useful.

Some German bloke in 1933 tried to marginalise and oppress certain groups.

Most people like to think of this site as a safe place for gay/bi/bicurious. Not all guys who dress do so all the time and often also meet in male mode.

If you open a profile and find that person likes to cross dress, move on, block and don’t bother messaging. It’s that simple. Ironic that some gay men try to suppress tendencies they don’t like. 🤔

Remember the days when homosexuality was illegal and people objected (and worse) to certain practices? Live and let live?

Surely it is to do with birth gender, and not how you present yourself.

I'm starting to feel I enjoy being dressed as a man, being naked, and I suspect I will enjoy wearing womens clothes. Then there is all the fetish stuff. Does this mean I am no longer a guy, and I can go out safely on November the 5th

It's a case of live and let live. Times have changed. There used to be 'purist' sites but a lot went out of business because they didn't get enough members by barring cds/tvs. True I find blokes-in-frocks/ chicks-with-dicks a total turn off BUT I don't have to meet them and I don't have to look at their pics. It's not compulsory so scroll on.

My only irritation is when clicking on to Photos and clicking Men+Men+ PG/Page 3 I see blokes in femme clothing. Picture Mods take note!

The original post was one of curiosity/confusion, not tyrannical suppression. It seems that the only tyranny/suppression in this thread, so far, is emanating from the cross dressing crowd trying to smother any questioning or expression of preferences?

The question was placed with the emphasis on “guys” with a clear implication that the OP didn’t welcome cross dressers and the like.

If this was not intended to oppress then why bother even asking the question?

The fact that you refer to “the cross dressing crowd” is also quite telling.

The “cross dressing crowd” you refer to don’t attempt to limit the participants on the site.

What comes next? Maybe ostracise those who practice bareback sex, or Watersports, people with beards or hairy backs.

You also obviously missed (or deliberately ignored) the last words of my post which were “Live and let live”

What did you expect? Especially with so many crossdressers on here. They, and there admirers were bound to get very defensive. This question has been asked many times and got a similar response. Whilst I empathise with your view I also go by the old saying of live and let live.

Yikes, you also obviously missed (or deliberately ignored) that my (delberate) use of "crossdressing crowd" was qualified by "in this thread, so far"! I WAS NOT referring to crossdressers generally!! Rather, there seems to be a small, vocal minority in the forum who are all too prepared to 'jump down the throat' of anyone who doesn't share that fetish and join together, in a crowd to shut down any hint of disagreement/curiosity/lack of understanding…

The use of “so far” does not negate your use of “the cross dressing crowd” (Which certainly implies all cross dressers). If you meant just a small element of cross dressers you could have said that but you referred to the entirety.

Where is the evidence of cross dressers “jumping down the throat” of anyone? If you mean cross dressers defending their rights when questioned or attacked then say so. Defending their right to be on the site when this is questioned is most certainly not “jumping down the throat”

It’s a simple case of freedom to express one’s self in a way that makes the individual happy and comfortable.

There are lots of reasons no one reason is more or less valid than another though.

It’s a personal preference it’s not always don’t for the benefit of others though there are clearly men who find men dressed as women to be something they find exciting.

We all have our likes and dislikes it’s what makes life interesting and sparks debate.

But fabguys is a site for men who seek to connect with men whether straight, bi, gay or trans.

I think the very notion of men’s & womens clothes exists is insane as we are basically the same apart from genitals.

On your profile it says your interests include tattoos. Why? They’re indelible marks that ruin a perfect skin?

Another problem that has been discussed before. CD/TV/TS are lumped together yet are not the same thing. Greg the groundworker who likes to wear his wife's bra and knickers for a thrill and Brendan the brickie who calls himself Brenda in private all weekend and dresses as as a woman as an alter ego, are not the same thing. Also neither are transsexual as they are both happy to be men and are probably married and bi.

When I was a picture mod on a now defunct site anyone wearing any type of female attire automatically got put under cd/tv/ts even though they categorised themselves as 'Man'. We gay men have nothing at all against cd/tv/ts but we would probably rather not look at pictures of them. The filtering system certainly needs updating.

Sorry, that is not what a transexual is, a transexual is someone who identifies as a gender different to that assigned at birth, I think you mean transvestite. "

I thought that was what I was implying. CD/TV are not transsexual because they identify as men and have no intention of trying to change sex even if they doll themselves up in women's clothing, make-up etc as either a thrill or an alter ego.

"Some German bloke in 1933 tried to marginalise and oppress certain groups…

Defending their right to be on the site when this is questioned is most certainly not “jumping down the throat”"

You seem to wilfully misconstrue things by selectively quoting, creating new meaning to fit into a victim mindset: your 'replies' are a confection spilling out from your own prejudices

It's really simple. As I said in my initial post, we are welcome here regardless of you being into us or not. You can either quietly ignore us the same way I and other sensible users on this site treat any profile we aren't into, or you can whine in the forums and expect replies exactly like this.

I don’t think the OP really said anything about being welcome or unwelcome, just that he didn’t understand it.

Instead of just saying that dressers are welcome so you can be here if you want, explain why you like to dress, how it makes you feel, and why you choose to do it. He may not agree still, but he may understand why a little better.

What is the problem? We all see users on the site we aren't into but most of us ignore them. Op has been here a while so it's not like they aren't aware this site welcomes TV/ts. If they showed genuine interest in learning why we dress I would happily give my own reasons but instead it's just another tedious 'why do people dress post'. Check ops post history, it's not the first time they have moaned in the forums about people who look like me.

As we all are. However most of us have the sense not to go to the forums and bemoan things we aren't into or don't understand and instead we keep those opinions to ourselves. Further to all the sensible comments above, not all CDs identify in any way feminine at all. You may not be able to see past the lingerie but don't assume that everybody who likes it is a sissy, we aren't.

Nobody I've met has been under any illusion whatsoever that it's anything other than on man gay sex. Cock and arse, not clitty or bussy.

Maybe rather than just dismissing profiles out of hand, try reading some.

I can only speak for myself. I'm fine with people presenting however they like and totally get that many men have a strong preference for their own sort. Lots of bi guys on here, many of whom enjoy cross-dressing and many are happy to play with cross-dressers, they don't understand that gay guys don't find it appealing.

Gay guys generally are looking for masculine presenting males, notice the large number of posts and profiles from cross dressers, many of whom are very active on the forums. Often feels tedious if you need to wade through them, or discussion of wives or female celebrities or female underwear, on what is ostensibly a gay hook-up site, to find guys or posts that are of interest.

Infiltrated and poisoned are probably a bit strong. I'm not a fan, but surely we can all coexist on one site. A lot will feel more welcome and safer amongst guys who have sex with guys than they would on other sites. If you don't like, then just block, it really is that simple.

"Still baffled despite the lack of empathy for my question. "

Why does anyone do anything? Go with the flow of so-called normality [the majority] then we would all be straight. Gay/bi wouldn't exist. Go back in time and it almost didn't because it was either illegal, never talked about and very difficult to find some to have man-to-man sex with. Wonder how many gays/bi's went to their graves without ever experiencing gay sex.

Even go back 20/25 years there were gay/bi sites but crossdressing was severely frowned upon. I don't understand it and it certainly does not appeal to me in the slightest. I find it a total turn-off BUT I accept it exists and if it makes some people happy then fair enough.

You could also say why are some blokes, like me, instantly drawn to over blokes in full leather motorbiking gear, hi-viz, uniforms, sporting gear etc. I can't explain it. I like to wear it myself as much as look longingly at other guys in such gear. All a matter of personal taste which no one can really explain.

Honestly mate I have no idea either...

Like, why don't they all just dress normally?

This is a site for MEN!... Not some weirdo in knickers 😂"

There are biological women on this site, do you object to them? As I don't.

Female to Male, they may well wish to be male (and good luck to them). But they are not male.

However they all others on this site have every right to be on here.

"Cross-dressing is a very common fetish among the bisexuals and 'straight' guys.

Shame, as it ruins a lot of otherwise sexy guys. Total boner killer.

There have been suggestions that another spin-off site, maybe called fabtrannies, might be popular and useful. "

The site probably would be both popular and useful.

But if you took all the ‘trannies’ off here and put them on to a separate site, would either of them be financially viable?

So then instead of a decent site where the OP and his ‘sort’ could come and meet, and ‘trannies’ could do the same, there wouldn’t be a site for either, so we would all have to go to the swingers site where none of us would be happy.

Here's a simple explanation. On this app there's an option where it says TV/TS. Might have popped up somewhere. Well what that means is transvestite and transexuals.

Also, this app is clearly designed for people from the LGBTQ+ community. The bi option appears there, not just for gays, but next to the letter B, there's also a letter T. Gosh. Can't really think of what the letter T stands for.

🥰😍😊
