Has anyone flown through Malaga recently since the ESS (or whatever it’s called) regs have come into force?

I’m reading lots about missed flights and stuff from various European airports as a result of queues etc. but I was wondering specifically about Malaga. Apparently some airports are running pretty efficiently and others are at a standstill.

Any help welcomed.

There about a month ago. Going in fine, machines obvious with an English speaking assistant to help. More confusing on way back, but ok when we found someone to help.

Once you’re on the system it’s fine.

Bit of a faff at 1st but there’s people there to help you.

Once on the system it’s cool.

Got through the digital gate no problem on way home.

Blackburn

Last month there were queues but it wasn’t actually too slow on arrival. Just a bit disorganised and some people just can’t stand still and look at a camera!

Return flight with Jet 2 was straight to e-gates after check-in, no problem.

Problems mostly seem to be with a number of flights all arriving at the same time.
