Sittingbourne and Canary Wharf

He invited me round and honestly, I was speechless. Just inside the front door was a pile of empty cola cans about four feet high. There was mould on the walls, wallpaper peeling off, a horrible smell, cat mess, and rubbish everywhere.

I was completely gobsmacked and just mindlessly followed him into the bedroom, but the second I saw that, I knew I had to leave. He had an overflowing cat litter tray on the bed, piles of rubbish everywhere, and you could not even see the floor.

I just said, “Dude, this is a health hazard,” and left.

I am seriously considering calling the RSPCA because I was genuinely worried about the cats.

How do people live in conditions like that? He was about 22 and good-looking, but I would not have wanted to go anywhere near him.

What is the worst you have ever seen?

I've done same.

I realise not everyone enjoys rhe lifestyle I have but invites to a fellas home.

No carpet. Pipes of newspapers. Could hardly see any kitchen countertop as fulls of plates and dirty dishes. Went upstairs broken curtain pole, and mattress not fully covered by fitted sheet. Really badly stained mattress too.

He came across as a nice enough guy but I made my excuses and had to depart.

It's never happened to me, but I'm a great believer in 'gut instinct' if it feel wrong, turn around. Although, I don't think 'gut instinct' was needed in the above examples !

Shame, the guy might be in a bad place with his mental health.

I have had to walk away from a few meets in the past because as soon as they open the door it looks bad and a few the smell hits you. I am not talking a little bit of mess, it was full on hoarder level. Anyone whose hygiene standards are that low are not getting to put their dick in me, god knows what state that would be in.

I’ve walked into a couple of absolute shit holes in my experiences on here - don’t know how any self respecting person could live like this - let alone entertain an internet stranger for a hook-up … on both occasions the guys asked me if I wanted a verification - so I could get the numbers up - absolutely not !

( always travel - never accom - and if you need to leave - you can run ! )

These chaps might have health issues e.g. mental health problems.

I would definitely contact RSPCA if animals are not being kept well.

None of us know what the future holds and kindness and empathy go a long way.

It's usually mental health problems. The mess almost becomes invisible to them.

If there are cats in there then please do tip off the RSPCA. I wouldn't want anyone's pet taken from them, but animals do not deserve to live in those conditions. Especially if they're indoor cats as well, breaks my heart.
