Does anyone regret missing an opportunity,or wondering what might have happened if they had acted differently? I recall eye contact across an underground train carriage, a glance back over his shoulder as he made his way to the door when the train slowed down, and a smile through the window as the doors closed. I still wonder ....

East Midlands

In my early twenties I was waiting to pick up a family member at Heathrow Airport and the flight got delayed. So, to pass my time I went and purchased a top shelf magazine and proceeded to the toilets to have a slow wank. After receiving myself over the magazine I tidied myself up and exited the cubicle and started to walk out when a gentleman sided up to me and said "I know what you were doing, would you like to have some more fun?" I was so shocked and scared I just hurriedly walked away.

I've thought many times about that opportunity as it would have been my first experience, and had I taken that I probably would have enjoyed being with guys much earlier in life rather than wait until my 50s.

The Charlie Bingham’s Chicken Fricassee that I passed on in the reduced section at Tesco but later went back to only for an old biddy to have it.

😔

In the toilets at Lancaster Services I saw a guy walking out of the shower area. I went into the toilets and standing at a urinal the guy looked over to me and smiled. Lingered for ages before he left and then as I walked out after him he turned around and looked at me again….. I didn’t know where to go for anything more so I let the moment pass by me.

I 've often thought I should have 'A Man of Many Missed Opportunities' engraved as an epitaph on my gravestone.

Amateur. I just put them all in the trolley and decide just before I get to the checkout. Put back the stuff I don't want.

I have to shamefully confess that most of mine were girlfriends-that-should-have-been were I just aware enough to read the signals of interest.

Most of my gay opportunities have been grabbed with both hands

I dont have regrets about anything, but I sometimes look back and wonder how my life could be different if I made different choices. I abandoned a teenage relationship with the daughter of a billionaire to do a holiday job in France. I wonder...

Yes, I have many regrets of missed opportunities when younger, and it's one thing I would tell my younger self if I could go back in time.

Clacton on sea

I had booked into a hotel in Milton Keynes for a weekend conference and arrived on Friday afternoon, after settling in and watching a bit of television “as you do” and after taking a shower I went to dinner in the attached restaurant and decided to have a beer or two at the bar.

My attention was immediately attracted to two extremely sexily dressed T/Girls that had come in from the hotel area… OMG it struck me that it was Pink Punters Big night out Friday evening and there I was only a stones throw away with no suitable clothes or accessories to go in…

Disappointing as it was the conference was quite full on for the two days and I think I would have burnt the candle at both ends…

I have indeed now been to Pink Punters since this time and realised that it’s also very full on.

If it had been a Bingham's top crust pie, I'd have wrestled the old dear to the ground for it.

If I could match my self-confidence and experience now with my libido in my shy and nervy teens and twenties I'd be fucking unstoppable

Christ, too many to mention, male and female.

Regret missing the male opportunities the most. Now idea why, but I was liked by both at school and college. But shy ol’ me chickened out most of the time.

Too many to count, and so many opportunities taken. Unfortunately due to my MS, not many opportunities now, and even less that I can take advantage of.

I've probably said no (in haste) to several guys on here who simply didn't meet my age criteria.

Just me being fussy and it may well have cost me a whole lot of fun into the bargain

That 3sum with those 2 Premier League footballers. My car park ticket was up and I had some frozen stuff in the boot that would have defrosted.

Back in my younger days I was in a rail station toilet enjoying all the graffiti and stories on the walls. Too young and naive to know what the holes in the walls were and why all the locks were broken.

And too shocked and scared by the man who tried to push in with me to do anything other than leg it.

My first same sex experience as a (legal) teenager at the cinema, when a (much) older gentleman came in during the film and sat next to me, resting his overcoat across his lap and spilled across my lap too.

Soon after I felt something warm squeezing my thigh and stroking me. It lasted about 7 minutes and I was too scared to move or say anything.

Only after he got up and left did I realise my young cock was rock hard and leaking a river of precum into my pants. I still wonder how my life might have changed had I looked/smiled at him, pressed my leg against him or just followed him out to speak to, or go into the toilet…..?

I do recall having an amazing wank when I got home, thinking about the seediness of it and what might have been.

Absolutely true.

A few going to the nudist beach and not getting naked in Gran Canaria and in Greece.

Had a message from a MM couple when away in Vancouver who looked like they would be fun to hang out with socially and be spitroasted but was going on a hike alone instead. When I got back later in the day they were having dinner with friends.

My life has been good BUT I do regret suppressing my interest in cocks and my desires to enjoy them for so long.

It was only when I retired that I had the opportunity to unleash my inhibitions and experiment.

I have since enjoyed sampling various aspects of male sex by initially being Bi curious and Bi before succumbing to the acceptance that I was probably Gay. However I have now found my true self as a naughty cross dresser who just loves no holes barred sex with other males

In my straighter days, yes I had many regrets and missed opportunities but none since I identified as gay. I used to put girls on a pedestal and was frightened of rejection. Knowing that some men actually find me quite attractive gives me more confidence than I ever had in the past.

Same here, unless they had 'fuck me' stamped on their foreheads I'd miss the signal.

Missed gay opportunities when in my 20’s

Could have saved me a failed marriage had I followed my desire instead of attempting to do “the right thing” as expected of me…

Made up for it since.

If you asked her nicely she would have given it to you.

Add a naughty smile and she would probably have paid for it for you
