Rawcliffe Bridge.

Passed away today, and came onto my radar with the song from TV program Robin of Sherwood in 1984.

Very sad. Still quite young. Enchanting angelic voice.

She was really quite an exceptional vocalist. Such a purity of tone you rarely find.

I became aware of Clannad via the Harry's Game song like most, but did delve into their earlier stuff after that.

There's something about Donegal musicians that others don't have. Probably a combination of the wild and windy country and it being a proudly Gaeltacht area yet still in the north of the island with the Scots influence. Whatever it is, you can't bottle it. It's for real. RIP.

Being older than me, why wasn’t it the Theme From Harry’s Game that alerted you to Clannad in 1982?

It was a huge hit.

I wasn't a fan of Harry's Game, so never watched it, so never guessed it was them.
