I've met guys who were by who prefer men to women but will still have sex with the old woman when the mood takes them and that's the situation with guys as well isn't it, if you're by and you're married or have mostly female friends we then have gay sex as a release in the main. This just shows you don't understand gay, a biological man who is genuinely gay has no desire what so ever to have sex with biological women, likewise a biological man who is genuinely straight does not desire sex with biological men, in both cases if they did they'd be Bisexual, bicurious just says they have thoughts of and would like to try some same sex fun, but to have those thoughts they are not straight in the first place.

People can change. I was straight (and not in a performing to conform sense), then I was bi, and now I am gay and unlikely to change back. Sexuality can be even more fluid than that for some people. Im sure there are plenty of gay men who wonder, or fantasise about sex with a woman. Not many go that route long term though, because sex between 2 men is way better than sex between a man and a woman.

There is still societal pressure to conform and be straight. Some gay guys will have tried straight sex and possibly even a straight relationship while younger, before realising it wasn't for them. Some will attempt to continue pretending to be straight until later in life.

Perhaps instead of bi-curious it should be called gay-curious. After all if you are bi-curious then you could be straight but wondering what gay sex is like. Or you could be gay and curious about straight sex. Under some peer pressure and a need to conform I went through a brief straight-curious period in my 20s. Allowed myself to be seduced by a mate's wife [they were swingers who swung in every direction] one d*unken night. Thought perhaps it was not so bad. I was bi curious until a few years ago at 42. After walking home from sucking a cock for the first time I changed my profile from curious to bi. Now I don't find men romantically attractive, I couldn't see myself in a mm relationship. Also I'm not a fan of kissing men, but I don't mind doing it if the other guy is into it.
