You might think that given the staggering amount of caravans, and smaller privately owned hotels, someone would have opted for the 'rent by the hour' business model.

Apart from chains like Holiday Inn, no one seems to do them (and im guessing they'revery strict on usage), especially not around here.

Probably because of the cost and staffing, as they would need to clean rooms after every person that's booked for hour!

I get that, but how much would one pay for a safe, warm and comfortable room to liaise with a partner.

It would be an expensive business to run.

Insurance, heating, laundry, repairs, redecoration, etc.

I don't think there would me much demand to warrant it. An owner would have to charge close to a 2* hotel rate to cover costs. Most people wouldn't want Fab strangers coming to their home to shag someone in the caravan on the driveway.

Why not agree to meet in a sauna and use a cubicle?

No money in it. Cost of cleaning staff for changeover, cleaning, laundry.

Rent a cabin in a sauna. They just have wipe clean surfaces and low lighting so you don't notice how filthy they are.

Blimey, there's a thought NOT to ponder on!

A guy I had met said he would hire a day room (hotel in Lincoln) and we'd share the cost. Long story short, the hassle of ID and paperwork, room passes and security doors made it too ridiculous for someone else to come to the room (as they, in this case, me, weren't the person who'd booked it). Apparently, reception required each individual to "check in". He thought better of it.
