A reply is polite. I don't mean to a nasty message! Like the one I got yesterday "Show me more face pics, want to see my filthy arsehole, no wonder you're wife is fucking those young guys" Completely unsolicited amused me so much I didn't reply. At least he read my profile. Fud! However if someone messages me I tend to reply, even to say "no thank you" it just seems decent.

I agree, a reply is polite, but can be hard work when the message is simply 'Hi'. If the sender couldn't be bothered, should we be ?

I'm sure a good proportion of guys on fab have had the experience of being abused for politely turning a meet down.

That's why many don't reply I believe.

Being berated online is not nice, and why deal with some coward who would say something to you online they would never say if you were looking them in the eye.

They're the rude ones
