"USA have won the war against Iran according to Trump, several weeks ago. Meanwhile there is a global economic crisis due to no oil or other commodities passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran have today fired on three commercial vessels. Is there no actual end to this idiot's bullshit?" Russia's oil revenue has doubled due to a relaxation of sanctions aimed at easing the crisis which is now, in part, funding the war in Ukraine. Is there no actual end to this idiot's bullshit?" Iran deliberately targeting commercial vessels are war crimes, as was targeting other countries infrastructure, particularly Oman. The only apparent military success of Iran, reported a couple of weeks ago, was shooting down two US fighter jets out of some 10,000 US targets of Iran, and even then the pilots survived. Iran are not even fighting a war, they are committing war crimes and acts of terrorism, they are, after all, a terrorist state. In that sense, President Trump is, again, 100% correct, the ‘war’ has been won, probably from the first day.

Any country that has ever been involved in a war has harmed civilians. Unfortunately it’s a part of war. To keep on and on and on about it shows how little there is to hold against him. If the US senate hasnt impeached him (yet) then he’s still the president that’s done nothing wrong, whatever you have personally decided

No actually those idiot’s bullshit and the real fools are the three clueless European leaders, the liar Starmer, along with Macron and German kanzler . They've been cozying up to the ayatollahs for 47 years, splitting up Iranian oil while the Iranian people suffer and killed and hanged . It's disgusting, and no one else is supporting those dirty ayatollahs—only Starmer and his crew are making that happen.

War is war... civilian infrastructure supports armies! Dresden, the London and Berlin blitz! Terrorists will use and hide behind hospitals, schools and religious infrastructure! Rules made up in peacetime by armchair academics about what constitutes a war crime, don't count for squat when the bombs and bullets start flying! War is a nasty business, but someone, somewhere is making money out of it... there's ya real criminals!

You initiated the discussion by criticizing Trump and his objectives, suggesting that you believe you possess superior knowledge compared to others. I posed questions to you, but you did not provide any answers. The loss of jobs and rising prices are temporary issues, whereas the uranium enrichment by those who commit murder could potentially devastate countries worldwide. So, consider which option is more favourable. You overlook the reality that the Iranian people themselves desire to be free from this regime, which is controlled by armed murderers. Starmer seems content to sit back and let others handle the situation, similar to the approach of France and Germany. The oil-sharing arrangement they had with the ayatollahs is now over. I hope this message resonates with you.

Stripped right down to the bare bones, it is Iran & Iran only who have closed the Strait solely due to terrorist activities, including now hostage taking. Iran have not engaged in military warfare, if they are, they are committing war crimes in the Strait. The like of the OP appear to wilfully ignore this and never condemn terrorism from a terrorist state or war crimes. As the president said, we don’t need another Neville Chamberlain appeasing monsters. Only act once a terrorist state had nuclear weapons?

"Since the Shar who was an American puppet and like Americans do he misappropriated billions from the Iranian people until he was expelled from Iran in 1979, and since time he and his family have enjoyed a billionaire life in Paris all funded by the Iranian people. No sensible person has any patience with the religious clowns who were able to establish the horrible regime which replaced the Shah but bad as they are they in no way come close to being as evil as their predecessors. Perhaps someone could point out to me how Iran was ever a threat to the yanks, and bear in mind that they signed a nuclear accord with Abama which the present gangster unilaterally tore up." Shah did not reside in Paris. It is advisable to educate yourself on the history of Iran before you regurgitate nonsensical statements from leftist propaganda like a parrot.

Perhaps someone could point out to me how Iran was ever a threat to the yanks, and bear in mind that they signed a nuclear accord with Abama which the present gangster unilaterally tore up. Shah did not reside in Paris. It is advisable to educate yourself on the history of Iran before you regurgitate nonsensical statements from leftist propaganda like a parrot." I am well aware that the deposed Shah lived in several countries but his family eventually resided in Paris, all totally irrelevant. I notice that you chose to ignore my request for information which supports your claim that every US President considered Iran to be a threat.

Every US President, from Carter to Trump, has had bad relations with Iran and have carried out economic sanctions against Iran for decades and no direct diplomatic relations. Iran’s hostage taking of US citizens in 1979 kicked it off. Reagan provided military support for Iraq against Iran in their war. Reagan attacked Iranian oil fields and sunk a warship in 1988. Clinton imposed total oil & trade embargoes against Iran. Bush Jnr considered Iran part of an Axis of Evil and pursuing nuclear weapons. Both Bush Snr and Obama were less aggressive with Iran but both still continued sanctions and trade embargoes. As did Biden but with increased tension. And, of course, Trump, the only president to have the backbone to deal with these animals. Why didn’t you know this shirty? It’s history you have lived through.

" You describe the Iranian people as animals which is totally disgraceful and go on to describe the proven criminal as having back bone and you chose to ignore his long history of lies. In my view you would be well advised to consult psychiatrist.
