Is it just me or do others dislike being called affectionate names on here by what I class as friends and friends with benefits.

What I mean is I feel uncomfortable being called, sexy, darling, hunny, babe etc, it makes me take a step back.

I'm neither keen on pet names nor misogynistic sounding pejoratives. Both smack way too much of the entitled bullshit men always trot out when they're (usually unsuccessfully) after a legover. Don't mind being addressed either by my real or screen name though. It's more direct and honest.

Same here...I've had chats here, just initial ones finding out if d match and on same page, and even though from guys who appear on the surface quite 'blokey' there's been 'sweetie' and 'babes' dropped in

"Yeah sweetie, I like that too"

That kind of thing...just doesn't sit right lol
