A "Hi" hit my inbox at 2pm yesterday. I usually ignore but the location was near.

I was polite and courteous. So was he. He was just a little but nervous. Bit of too and fro chatting and he invited me over. My heart sank as I was awaiting a text from nephew to go puck him up from drum practice.

I shared and he said that's fine. He's in all evening. Nephew did text for a 530pm pickup. By 6pm I was heading over.

610pm and I'm standing outside knocking door. We were both in shorts. He was already lie a rod of iron.
