With the influx of AI generated images here is it taking away from the genuine side to portraying an image of oneself that builds connections to meet and play or is it another cheap fantasist way for thrills?

The government behind the curve and missing at the wheel again! Ai pics and generated text should have an identifier so real people will know when something is fake or computor generated! The EU is in the process of identifying the danger and bringing in legislation to control it. Without doubt Ai is the greatest threat to humanity since gunpowder was invented and the atom was split!

Bingo!

Yes it's very annoying.

Takes hours to look half decent as a TV.

Then someone posts a bunch of photos that are obviously fake and people lap it up.

I guess the cats out of the bag and there's not much that can be done to stop it.

I just encourage people to use your eyes and common sense.

Don't fall for it.

Wait till the latest AGI comes in with AI agents that can reply to emails, messages etc without needing to informing you. Photos and videos will become undetectable. Even in last few months pictures of people with for example six fingers or two thumbs have drastically dropped in numbers as the AI learns.
