I think the Refractory Period is more about how long it takes you to be physically ready to engage again. I think the OP is talking more about losing any mental engagement immediately after cumming. Another names it as post-nut clarity, I've also heard of it as post-orgasmic depression. Some commenters have said about simply losing all interest, others have said that for them that it includes shame and/or disgust.

But I'm with several others - no guilt, happy to revel in the afterglow, kiss, cuddle, etc. And if I happen to be the one to have cum 1st, I'm not going to leave him wanting, I'm happy to keep playing to satisfy him, my only caveat being I can't tolerate penetration in the immediate period after coming, but I'll do anything else..... and if anything else takes long enough, he'll eventually be able to penetrate me again.
