I can understand the frustration — it’s annoying when guys seem to just skip basic info. But conversely, a lot of guys message from apps where profiles sometimes don’t fully load, or they’re used to other sites where the first message is just a ‘hi’ to open chat. Some are also neurodivergent or have language barriers, so ‘clear instructions’ might not always land the same way. Calling them "idiots" is rather condescending and shuts down anyone who made an honest mistake and makes the poster look unapproachable to the people who did read. - Just another perspective.

Yep - People have a problem reading more than a paragraph it would seem, and many think that somehow the preferences stated don't apply to them. Some, I am sure, like to troll profiles. At least though it acts as a filter so you can add to that block list.
