Post Covid muscle loss?

I lost five weeks to Covid and for three of those I barely ate. Lived off fruit and yogurt basically.

Recovered - but fatigued a lot - only my biceps, quads and glutes are shrunk and the skin is less tight.

Pecs look ok but gone from 42" to 40".

I wasn't overweight before and worked out three times a week.

Has anyone experienced this, and will my skin re- tighten?

I'd be surprised if the skin would tighten up again much..it happens when people lose weight whether fat or muscle and skin isn't as elastic as you get older.

If you could get back to the way you were, it might fill up the volume again and the skin be back to a similar tightness.

Not ready to resume the gym. I'm eating well though, but healthily.

Get those pies down you!!

Basically your skin 'fitted' your previous body volume/shape so if you get back to that you should be ok or near abouts...but when you're ready.

If you need a pie trainer . Give me a bell lol

I started my diet on Monday 😞

Well not diet...eating healthy and trying to do activities I used to before a chronic knee issue tested it's head.

Never slim but rather get back to stocky rugby build.

Think I'm going to have less tight skin 😢😢
