Personally no I haven’t but it does happen. If you’ve got any concerns contact your SH clinic and get tested. Oral is typically lower risk but not zero risk.

To know that you'd have to of had only sucked one guy between tests and not let him cum in your mouth. Seems a very unlikely scenario and even more unlikely you'd plan a follow up test if that was the only action you had🤔

This is not the place for medical advice. This is a dating site.

Your local sexual health is part of the NHS and is staffed by non judgemental doctors who specialise in keeping you safe from sexually transmitted infections. They will keep you safe and treat you if you are infected.

Would you ask people on a dating site "do you think I have broken my leg, I only fell off my skate board once" or would you go to casualty and ask a doctor?

Probably more chance of getting Hantavirus if you live in Cheshire.

Yes...just ensure you get tested.

I test every 3mos. Post clinic post clinic. Caught gonorrhea.

That puts me on list now for Doxy.

Everyone should get tested every three months if they have casual partners.

A big factor in deciding to go onto Prep and get tested every 3 months was hearing of a straight man I know getting Chlamyidia. The woman he got it from did not know she had it. His was picked up as part of wider tests he was having and he was really surprised. He went back to her and told her. She didn't know either at that point. Neither suspected they had a STI. Both got sorted with anti biotics and both are single which made things a little easier for them.

Looking into it it seems gonorrhea has visible symptoms in the vast majority of cases where you get it in the penis, but oddly has little or no symptoms in many cases when you catch it anally or orally. Often people think they just have a sore throat, then forget about it.

The MenB jab protects against some of the strains of gonorrhea. DoxyPep also gives some protection as well as protection against other bacterial infections like Chlamydia and Syphillis. None of this is perfect and regular testing is key. If you do catch something it will find it so you dont spread it further and get the right treatment to deal with it.

Things 'looking OK' is no indication as to whether they really are. No one wants to suck a dirty cock, but if a guy gets out the shower, you suck his cock, he gets hard, a bit of pre-cum, but he doesn't cum in your mouth, he puts on a condom and fucks you, if you're really unlucky you could have caught something. Testing is key

Yes, there is a high risk of catching sexually-transmitted diseases with sucking or blowjobs, depending very much on your luck or how well you know your playmates.

I still suck anyway and take doxy-peps to prevent infection. Till date I have never catch any infection.

No, statistically there isn't a high risk, unless you're sucking infected cock, and infected cocks aren't all that common.

Doxy is just about useless for gonorrhea.

He didn't need to cum to pass on anything.

Plus If a guy wanted to use a condom for oral I'm not going anywhere near him.

I give all without condoms, I prefer a cock coming in my mouth too much, just be careful look for any obvious fucking bits, and get tested regularly

I caught gonorrhea early 2025. From oral with a so called trusted guy , had a really bad sore throat worse than Covid. First one in 40 years. Went to my local clinic. Injection in the bum. Tested following week and cleared up.

And of course the emerging threat of HPV infection leading to throat cancer-

Was touted when i was first active as perfectly safe… but the rising incidence says otherwise.

The op didnt hang around long did he.

Was going to add, dont give blow jobs too soon after brushing your teeth, especially if there is any blood, or if you have bitten your tounge, inside of your mouth or burnt it by eating anything too hot.
