I would be interested to hear your views.

Travelled last Friday by train, not great, ticket inspection on the train " don't worry, somebody at the station will help you with your baggage". No such help. Mobility scooter on the train getting off via a ramp that was provided bumped into standing passengers on the train while trying to manoeuvre in a tight train. Lift out of order, no station staff to help myself and others struggling up the stairs and total knobheads using the "up" stairs to go down. Loads of verbal abuse from them as you point this out to them. So worried I would fall backwards down the stairs and really hurt myself. A big group of station staff at the barriers checking tickets so staff available. Disgusted by the scrum and the I am in a hurry attitude.

I think the experience could have been souch better !!

Your views appreciated.

Did you make use of the Passenger Services app thingy?

I took my Mam,a wheelchair user, from the Welsh Valleys to London to see ABBA Voyage and it went perfectly. Ramp onto train. Easy transfer at Cardiff Central. Paddington to Elizabeth Line, then DLR to ABBA.

I booked special assistance for my parents to return to their home town after my car packed up at the worst possible time. Mum had got dementia and Dad was starting with it. The staff treated them like royalty and organised two changes of trains without a hitch. On the long distance train they put them near to the buffet and kept them supplied with tea and biscuits. At their destination the station staff saw them safely into a taxi. My Dad summed it up “I’d recommend it to all old folks!”
