I only stay in large hotels, ie at least 150 bedrooms where reception is open 24hrs and people can just walk in and out. Small hotels or guesthouses, it's harder to be discreet.

My mate works in a large hotel. They accept it goes on. You’ve paid for the room. As long as you respect other guests; keep the noise down. Don’t make it obvious etc. what you do is your business.

But please try and tidy up after yourself- put used condoms in the bin, don’t leave them for the housekeeper to pick up, or find in the bedclothes. Have a bit of respect for them.

I stayed in a lovely old hotel near Southampton centre recently, with a double room on the second floor.

The reception was staffed round the clock, and a small Indian chap, watched arrivals like a hawk.

Done it many times when I've been in a hotel for work or travel, just set your location to where you are and easily find guys interested, meet them outside and walk in together, if it's a decent size hotel no one thinks anything of it, and always plenty to choose from if you can accom and in a large enough town or city

I do this, book a room for 2 (you get extra towels then) you can take both cards and hide one outside or tell reception your partner will pick the other card up from them when they arrive. Most guys are a bit timid about picking up from reception so I usually hide it outside.

I don’t tell them where it is until they tell me they have arrived. Don’t want to get all dolled up and have to retrieve it myself when they cry off (yes it happens a lot)

Met a guy once in the same hotel, he wanted me to come to his room fully dressed. I wouldn’t want to make other guests feel uncomfortable so checked the corridor first. I tapped on the door and he let me in immediately. I then realised, I’d left my card in my room!!! He teased me for a bit (which I enjoyed) before he went down to reception, pretended he was my partner and retrieved the card I had left on reception.
